This light is FAR better than a standard hard hat headlamp!! 5stars!!
Let me start by saying this Halo hard hat light is a Awesome product! I am a line technician for Comcast and sometimes work on call late at night. When I used it for the first time it far exceeded my expectations! I could see everything that was in my work space perfectly with no shadows! And also could be seen by others up to 1/4 mile away! This light is Far better than any of the standard headlamps I have used in the past with my hard hat! It is easy to use, light on my hard hat, and battery life is long lasting! I give it 5 stars for sure! If you are thinking about getting one dont think any longer. GET ONE! It is worth every penny to be able to see eberything freeing up both my hands for working, and the safety part of being seen by other motorists alone is worth the money! The only thing that was a little dissapointing is that the light only cam with one battery. It was no big deal though. I purchased two spare batteries,and now I always have spares for when the battery runs out. If you get one you will not be dissapionted with it! Awesome product!!

Not enough light to the ground to prevent slips, trips and falls
We were looking for a light that would help with truck drivers getting out of their trucks and walking a construction site in the dark. Something to help with job site hazards. This light does not fit that need for us. We like the idea but need the light to be directed downward.Thx

works great for construction work as well as around the house, working in the attic, when the power is out, fits on a ball cap as well

You're getting just the halo ring for the hard hat. Fit on hard hat well, guys at work were stoked for it.

360 degrees of light.
Very functional. Not sure about the battery life yet as this is the first night using it. I work in construction onnight shift, so light is a must.

Not worth it
No hard hat then I had to buy a hat and this unit does not fit on all construction hats. Too much money for half of what you need!
