This is better than the site made it sound.i have used it in downtown Seattle in a bad windstorm without a problem. I love that when it is closed it looks almost like a day of the dead figure and plan to crochet a cozy for the handle to complete that look.

First things first it came with a defect. Aside from that its a pretty cool umbrella as umbrellas go. I don't know how it would hold up to day to day usage or taking it out in gale force winds but as far as something nice to use once and a while it seems good. I've opened it and closed it a bunch of times and i don't see anything wrong with it. Here's some pics i took including one of the defect "runner" on the under canopy side. I would have gave it 5 stars without the defect as everything else is exactly like its shown.

I purchased the umbrella in March 2017. Have only used a few times but now it won't stay open. It is sold through YESMALL and made by Tooge. There is no contact information available for either company so I cannot followup on warranty information. YESMALL is an online company created by Skye Bank to promote small and medium sized firms and provide a means to market their products. So it would seem that the buyer is three times removed from the manufacturer and contact information is not readily available. Amazon refers me to YESMALL and I am waiting for a response but am not hopeful. I will post follow up information if it comes in. As of now I would not recommend buying this umbrella.UPDATE: Dec. 15, 2017 I received a response to my email in a day or 2. I sent it on a weekend. The company asked for an order number and a picture of the broken umbrella. Today I received a replacement. Hopefully, it will last for years. I increased the stars to 3 and will wait and see how this one holds up,

I was a bit skeptical on how well this would work and suffice it to say.... it does! The ONLY negative thing about it for me is that I have really large hands, not long but very wide and while I can grab the handle easily, it is quite difficult to get my hand through that loop to hang it on my arm as they show in the picture for a "hands free" propped on the shoulder use, or to carry it hooked on if its stopped raining. But I can't ding them for that, only suggest they make a "man's size" loop, the current size is ok for the ladies but I'm sure there are some ladies with larger hands as well.Anyhow, love the way the umbrella closes as I'm getting into my truck. I pull the closer down and it traps all the rain inside. I then move it to the passenger floorboard (got a rubber mat so no worries) and then later I can stick it back out and open it easily when I get back out if it's still raining.One last thing, maybe make it with an "auto-open" feature?? Otherwise, perfect.

I like the idea of the inverted umbrella, but the quality isn't all that great. I was able to use the umbrella yesteday for the first time and was I disappointed. There's pieces of the material (strings) coming off of the edges. Image can be seen below. I've only had this umbrella for a month with 1 use, kind of worried of how this will hold up after a few months/years. Secondly, and the most dissappointing one... the umbrella already has issues clicking and holding at the fully opened position. I had to sit there and fight with the umbrella to lock open for a good minute. The idea and design of the product makes it ideal and quite creative, but the quality is lacking.

THE BEST UMBRELLA!! I will never own any other umbrella after buying this one. By it being inverted NOTHING gets wet when I sit it down in the car or in the office. Having the freedom of another hand by placing your hand through the C-handled is ingenious! I now can carry things with both hands when it's raining. Works well in windy conditions too! Will definitely buy another when I need it! I think of Rihanna when I use it "You can stand under my umbrella, ella, ella, eh, eh, eh Under my umbrella, ella, ella, eh, eh, eh" lol

I got one for me and one for my husband. He is very picky with his umbrellas and he loves this one. We haven't used it in a crazy windy storm, yet, but so far it's definitely kept us dry. I love that the handle is easy to hold and to rest on my shoulder while unloading the car, etc.

This umbrella passed the "thunk" test. It blew backwards during a gust of wind, but it was fine. Ha! Take that Mr. Wind!!!Also, the handle is handy. As advertised, you can stick you wrist through the handle to open and close stuff, or fiddle with your phone, etc., but you have control of the umbrella.
