What a fantastic little brush for applying foundation. It's easy to apply thin layers of foundation over my skin to cover the hyperpigmentation on my cheeks. So much better than a sponge or other type of brush. Using this brush to apply thin thin layers means much better coverage, efficient and leaves my skin natural looking. I wear sunscreen daily, and using a sponge is not an option as it's damp and blotting it allover my face means I'm likely moving my layer of sunscreen around. Other brushes also tends to apply less evenly so it requires more buffing. Again disturbing the sunscreen. With this brush, I can apply a layer gently, if I accidentally apply too much there are streak lines, but I can also use the brush to gently blot away the streaks, much like a sponge. As I can go over the areas I need more coverage lightly, there isn't a ton of product on my skin leaving it looking more even yet natural. So for me, I start on my cheeks, then I'll work on my nose creases and chin, then go back to my cheek, then work on my forehead and go back to the darker spots again. If my spots look especially dark bc of inflammation or sun exposure, I would add a color corrector first, but luckily that isn't always an issue. I purchased the black and silver duo, I'm using the black one for foundation, and I'm thinking of carrying the silver one for reapplying sunscreen on very long days outdoors. That I will have to update later. But the price for the 2 pcs was an amazing value and worth adding to your brush kit.

I use this brush with my Giorgio Armani Luminous Silk foundation and love the results. I usually pump the foundation onto the back of my hand, dip the brush in, and apply light layers all over my face, then use a beauty blender to blend out my T-zone. The bristles are incredibly soft and feel great on my skin — no irritation at all! It’s so satisfying to watch the foundation go on so evenly. I’ve noticed the performance can dull a bit after a few days of use, but a quick wash brings it right back to life. It dries fast too! Excellent quality for the price.

I've had these for a while. They work well, clean up well, and are great for traveling. The price was great, it was packaged well and arrived on time.

A mua on social media recommended a spatula brush for foundation. She claimed it would help prevent cakeyness and minimize pores and texture. I tried it thinking it would never help my huge pores. I was shocked at the results. I tried it on moisturized skin without primer. It left a smooth finish without a trace of cakey or crusty. The picture (unfiltered, no powder) doesn't do it justice. I even used it to blend in some cream blush. Perfect finish. Before I could never keep any foundation from settling in pores or wrinkles and I've tried every brush, sponge, and fingers. The only thing is I would like a firmer brush. This one is a bit too soft.

Love the brush quality! It’s soft, flexible yet resilient, the handle is just long enough for comfortable grip but fits in my makeup pouch. Easy application and easy to wash as well. I use the silver one for sunscreen and the black one for foundation. The bristles make it easier to apply thinly and evenly. Perfect for natural makeup and layering for more coverage. Any makeup/skin care products can be used with this brush - the product doesn’t cling to the brush bristle much, allowing for an even application with a small amount. Protective cover is a plus to keep it clean and dust free.
