Will this work for a 2009 chevy Silverado?

Yes it will. This is for Gen 3 and 4 LS based engines. Or "Vortec" labeled truck engines.

Whats is the issue Ordered and installed and led is on without the vehicle running and neither trigger wire connected

Once it reaches a certain rpm it activates the module and shuts off the light mine does the same thing but works fine
