Hi-Tec Quadra Classic Walking Shoes - AW15

These shoes are great value and are very well made.They are comfortable to wear all day with the addition of some elastic laces.I thoroughly recommend them.

These are my second pair of Hi Tec walking shoes. The first lasted 3 years before getting a bit tatty. They are very comfortable. I would have preferred the colour of my old shoes, but they were not available.

Slight differences from my last pair, which lasted for 3 years without falling apart, I find them comfortable light weight and convenient, They fitted as expected (size 10) Don't expect them to be totally water proof . good grips over slippy surfaces. Ideal for everyday use, probably not for walking marathons each day .

This is my second pair. I buy them because they are well made and good for general wear likevtrainers - not very stylish but very practical and the previous pair seemed to last forever. They are comfortable out of the box - a bit like slippers - but are not serious walking boots if that's what you're looking for. I'm a standard size 9 and these fit nicely - l find Hi-Tec sizing is generally as you'd expect.At the price here they are good value.

For a while these were comfortable but after a 6 months they didnt last the amount of walking I do.

Nice wide fitting and extremely comfortable

So I’ve been wearing Sketchers for years but wanted a change and these looked and reviewed well.On arrival I was very pleased, I liked the shape, color, orange accents and initial lightness of the shoe. Hi Tec mention that these have a “step in” function. This means the foot opening is large and the sides flex easily outward to get your foot in. Works ok, and they go on easily, then when your foot is in you notice three things immediately.1) the shoes are very light. A little too light and this leads into the next bit.2)) because the sides are so flexible/movable for the step in thing, they feel very floppy and the sides of your feet don’t feel gripped. To get that structural feel back you end up doing the laces up very tightly, which caused discomfort on walks.3) The rubber sole feels very thin, there’s little real cushioning and certainly no arch support or memory foam. Your foot feels too close to the floor and you can feel stones and things through the sole.Maybe ok for a brief stroll or a fashionable urban shoe, but these are no walking shoes. They lack strength, rigidly and sole support to be good for longer walks. I went to a pair of Columbia Woodburn II’s and the difference is night and day. I don’t want to take the Columbias off.The hi-Tecs, I was glad to get out of.Shame, as I really like the look of them but they don’t deliver practically.

Die Qualität dieses Schuhs ist gemessen am relativ geringen Preis aus meiner Sicht sehr gut. Die Größe (in meinem Fall 46) stimmt. Besonders an diesem Schuh ist, dass er für sehr breite Füße geeignet ist; sehr bequem. Das ist auch der Grund, warum ich nach zwei verschiedenen Vorgängermodellen von Hi-Tec (die nach Jahren immer noch halten) jetzt fünf Paar dieses Modells in drei verschiedenen Farben erworben habe. Volle Empfehlung für "normalen" Gebrauch; über die Haltbarkeit bei ständigem Trekking-Einsatz kann ich keine Aussage treffen.Erwähnt sei noch, dass sich Hi-Tec im Kampf gegen das Abschlachten von Nashörnern engagiert.

These shoes are made in China and the soles started to separate from the tops after 4 months of everyday wearing, for 2.5 hours, to walk dogs.
