Tsukune’s terrible grades stick him in a school where all his classmates are monsters— and if they figure out his human status, he’s fresh meat. Things perk up when his scent attracts the hungry lips of a gorgeous vampire named Moka. Soon Tsukune is seduced by a succubus, tormented by a frisky witch, and stalked by a snow fairy! He’s a slacker in the human world but scores an A plus with monsters.

It's a long story......
A fun, harem anime about a boy who is accidentally enrolled in a monster school, despite not being one. It's wild and at times ludicrous, but it's quite fun. I really enjoyed the interactions between the male lead and the various ladies that pursue him between the course of the two seasons. The music is great! My favorite track is the opening theme from the first season, though the one from the second season is great too. It's disco and it fits the often times rediculous nature. One of my favorite parts is when he's looking I to Mokka's eyes and they say each other's names. The addition of the three or so other girls vying for his affection is hilarious as they battle and trade barbs over who is the best. There are heartfelt moments to balance out the absurdity, and one in particular that I thought was great. That one would be the one about body positivity and being comfortable/confidant in your own skin. That was actually really touching and came across well and not contrived. Kudos to the writer(s) for adding that....❤️I had a total blast. Just finished a second viewing and laughed just as hard. If you're looking for something fun with a great script, great voice acting, a heaping handful of cheese with some great heartfelt moments, I don't think you can go wrong with this one.Happy viewing....✌️

One of my favorites is finally on Bluray!
This was a totally unexpected and great buy for me. I have been keeping tabs on the Rosario DVDs for quite some time, and they have never really been a price that I felt justified in spending on DVDs. Having not only the DVDs as well as the Blurays at this price point made it a no brainer for me to order this set. I have had this since release and I have enjoyed my time revisiting this series. As far as the series goes, more likely than not, you know what you are getting by ordering this show. This was my gateway into the world of anime and I love it. It is not for everyone, especially if you are easily offended by notions of harem animes and tropey fan-service. If, however, you are into that sort of entertainment, then this show may be right up your alley. I have seen shows that up the ante in terms of fan-service or the monster action, but this show gets it just right. It is still over the top, but there are much more extreme examples of this genre out there that do not accomplish what this show does. A lot of people will inevitably say that the manga is better. Having read the manga, I can kind of concede this to be true, but to be quite honest, I consider both mediums to tell uniquely different stories with a lot of overlap especially toward the beginnings of both the manga and the anime. The manga gets significantly more serious in in its second season while the anime starts lighthearted and remains that way till the end. You come away with different outcomes from both mediums which is why I consider them to be uniquely different from one another. Great show if you are looking to put your mind on autopilot and be entertained.

Manga is a better story, but this version is still good.
- I bought this version used, as a public library used copy. I have to say that this is the best library copy I have ever seen and for the price it was completely worth it. The blu ray disks barley looked used, thr dvd versions are a little rough, but they play just fine and the blu ray is superior anyways. I even the outer case is it pretty good shape. There's 1 hole in it and it's pretty faded, but for a library owned copy I expected worse.- The show is what it is. It's the better quality version than the new "classics" version.

Really good series
This series has a total of 2 seasons, and both are great. There is action in every episode and plenty of comedy too. The first 13 episodes I watched in one day and the remaining 13 in the next 2 days. It is really engaging and made me want to know what happens in the next episode. The only real con I have is that I do not understand how so many characters close their eyes in the middle of conversations. To then open them and find out the person they are talking to is no longer there. Or how 90% of these characters walk into rooms with their eyes closed, lol. Don't get me wrong, it is still funny to see their reactions, but at some point, it does get a little much.I 100% recommend this.

Overall Amusing Series
The story for this series is pretty good & amusing,I also found the characters to be interesting & their antics as well. While there were some minor issues I had with the episodes they are rather minor all things considered. But for others they could be a issue namely in the end credits the shots of girls panties at the end of each & every episode. I personally just hit the fast forward button on the remote to skip to the next episode & get on with the story here:P So overall I would say if you want something little of the beaten path here this TV series would fit the bill & will amuse most people who have seen Japanese Animation before.
