What happened? Taste old but date is good!

Well this is a first, they taste old! Like the oil is rancid or something. I’ve been ordering these online and they are always delish but this batch, even though the date is good, when I cut open the bag they had that funky rancidish smell and the taste isn’t right. I thought this can’t be so I opened a second bag and same thing☹️ I’m so disappointed. Can’t return either becuz it’s a food item and thru Amazon, Damn!!! I don’t know what happened but I won’t be ordering anymore…
