G-STAR Men's Rovic Zip 3D Regular Tapered Pants

G star is my favourite brand and these cargos are one of their number one items. The quality is excellent, they keep the fit and colour wash after wash. I’ve had a number of pairs for years which in my book means they are great value for money. Any time a G Star cargos come up on an Amazon deal I add to my collection.

I have been looking at these trousers for a long time and caught them recently with a reduction. They are the perfect fit and look great.

These are my go to trousers apart from jeans. They feel very premium quality and the fit is good. The legs are definitely not as tight as shown in the images though.

The material is nice, the waist and length is right, the zipper pocket is huge easily takes a large book or notebook.The legs are skinnier than I expected around the calfs, but I've got very chonky ones.GStar as far as I'm aware is a premium brand, they only get a 4 out of 5 because there are a lot of "hanging" threads - overall though I'm happy with them

I love these cargos. Taper is ideal for me and the pockets are styled to perfection. Also in a rare 35 inch waist, which is my size. I have these in navy and tan already, so this grey pair finish the set!

One my fourth pair, I wear them until they rip, normally on the seat/inside leg. They last about a year each (worn 3-4 times a week), and I think that's good value, given that they are comfortable and have some stretch to the fabric. I'm sure a pair of thicker cotton cargo trousers would last longer but they wouldn't be so accommodating of a large lunch or heavy weekend away :-) I wear them dog walking, pub walking and of course dog+pub walking. Lots of pockets, so many in fact you will find yourself doing the house key "Haka" on a regular basis. Yes, the trousers arrived with balled up legs to save on storage and transport costs, all good for the environment. You could iron them, or alternatively wear them for a few hours and they sort themselves out. If you are planning to wear them straight away - maybe for a cheese and wine reception - I'd allow for ironing time, and also reconsider your definition of "smart casual"

This is the second pair of these I’ve bought. Just ace. I wore the last pair daily, until I’d worn them down to threads! Great quality, they are so comfy (maybe a bit too warm in this current nice weather) but once autumn kicks in these will be my go-to item. Look great, for great, last for ages… what more is there to say - zippy pockets are awesome for those of us who constantly leave keys lying around. Get some, you’ll thank me for the nudge!
