Quantum Research Super Lysine+, Cold Stick SPF21 5 GM

Every person who has cycled through the endless parade of lip balms that claim all day moisture and deliver approximately forty five minutes of relief before your lips feel drier than they did before application will understand exactly why finding something that actually works produces a reaction closer to genuine disbelief than simple satisfaction. Quantum Health SuperLysine+ Coldstick is that product and after years of being let down by options that looked promising on the label and disappointed in practice this one earned its place as a permanent fixture in every bag I own. The lysine herbs and nutrients formula does something that standard lip balms with their single-ingredient wax bases simply cannot replicate which is deliver moisture that builds on itself through the day rather than evaporating the moment the initial application absorbs. One pass in the morning produced lips that stayed genuinely comfortable through hours of talking outdoor exposure and the kind of dry indoor air that strips standard balms off in under an hour. No reapplication anxiety. No mid-afternoon scramble through a bag hoping the tube did not roll to the bottom. Application glides on without the drag that thick medicated sticks tend to produce and the finish feels lightweight rather than coated which makes wearing it through a full day feel natural rather than like a constant reminder that something is sitting on your lips. The sunscreen component adds protection that most lip care products skip entirely which makes this a genuinely complete product rather than a single-purpose fix. Durability of the stick itself holds up through daily use at a pace that makes the value calculation very favorable over time. For what it costs relative to how long it lasts and how consistently it performs this is the easiest recommendation in the lip care category. Stop settling for balms that quit before lunch. This one stays the course.

I have tried many other brands of lip balm but they each caused irritation and breakouts. I am glad that I discovered this brand several years ago. Back then, I also took the pills of the same name everyday to help with outbreaks. I don't take the pills nearly as frequently anymore but using this balm seems to be sufficient for me. I also have decreased my L-citrulline and Arginine (pre workout) usage, which I discovered to be extremely triggering. This balm is very moisturizing in a slightly petroleum jelly type of way, so there is a shine there after applying. I love this thickness about it because I don't need to use so much nor re-apply it frequently. I also use it in my nose because I have sinus issues which constantly has me wiping my nose with tissue. Using this has drastically reduced the level of inflammation that I used to have in my nose and eliminated outbreaks in there. I keep this stuff stocked and I have others now only using it, once they've tried some.

Like this balm. Helps cold sores but does not prevent them.

I will fight anyone who says this isn’t the greatest lip balm ever.

I love this! It protects my lips and keeps them super moisturized! 10/10
