Bought this as a gift and they love it. They are an avid outdoorsman who fish nearly everyday and night. They recommend this product as it is a great tool to have when hunting for bait (frogs, crayfish, etc). I purchased this for them because I noticed the amount of bugs swarming him when he went searching for bait one night using a traditional white light headlamp. This lamp has red and green(?) lighting options. He uses the red when looking for bait now and says its a vast improvement.

Two out of three haven’t worked
I have purchased three Mantus Waterproof Headlamps over the past two years. In the first two I purchased together, one would not charge so I had to return it, at my cost, to a company in the US. I am from Canada. I purchased the third headlamp to replace the defective one and after one sailing season, the red light no longer works. Needless to say, I am very disappointed in this product. I wonder if others have complained about the quality of the product given that it is quite expensive. I would not recommend them.
