Norpro Cupcake Corer Set, Pack of 3, Red

This was the most expensive corer I have purchased, that said it is the best quality I have used. As long as you twist whilst inserting in the cake the core comes out, the plunger is the full length of the corer so unlike some cheaper versions where you have to poke a knife or skewer up to get the cake core out, you press the plunger and it pops out. For normal cupcakes and muffins you would use the smaller corer, not entirely sure when you would use the larger one and their advertising is a little misleading as it says pack of 3 and from their picture you think your getting the filler bottle as well, part one is the holder, part 2 small corer and part 3 is large corer. It is very good quality and robust. If you do a lot of cupcakes its worth paying a little more and getting this good quality one, if you only use one very occassionally its probably over priced for your use.

These are great when making fairy cakes and need to remove a bit of cake to fill with jam, lemon curd etc. Easy to wash
