I would give this 10 stars if possible.
I’ve read a few books about being an empath and how to not only cope but to use your ability to live better. This book trumps them all. The information has stuck more than anything else I have read. The writing prompts are simple, but the explanations following hit the nail on the head every time. I would absolutely recommend this to anyone feeling as though it would benefit their life. Being an empath can be very difficult, and in my 35 years of life I have already learned a lot of the ways to handle it, but this author puts it into the best words. Even when reading something I already know/have learned, it’s such a helpful reminder.

Get THIS One
I've read every book on being an empathy. I've done counseling. I try harder than anyone I know to figure out what this thing is, why I have it, and why it has me. I've been struggling through the experience for over 40 years. Never has anyone given me a more clear path and permission to myself to embrace the good and shield the bad, and how to go about doing it. I would highly recommend it to anyone who's struggling to understand, as I do in my own circle. By the way, I"m only half way through with mine. This is neither hyperbole or paid placement. I'm a real person who is really growing through this book. Thank you, Ms Jameson. I appreciate you sharing it with us all.

Really helpful
As someone who has a hard time setting emotional boundaries and not internalizing the emotional stresses of others, I found this book super useful. It's well-structured and easy-to-read with tons of interactive sections. It truly is a workbook, not just a self-help book. The author, Stephanie Jameson, does a great job of providing examples of things you might have experienced, and then relating those experiences to some of the generalized experiences and traits of empaths. I like that this book both has sections aligned with current psychology perspectives as well as sections that embrace more holistic/spiritual approaches. For example, Chapter Six discusses some classic psychological challenges, like insomnia, addiction, and adrenal fatigue while Chapter 9 takes one through all the Chakra's and the principles of Chakra healing. The great this about this book is that you don't have to be decidedly in the strictly empirical or holistic camp - anyone can use the various sections of this book as it suits them.

Wonderful workbook
Safe to say that before I read this book, I had no idea what an empath was. Now, I'm not sure that I personally am an empath, but I certainly enjoyed reading this workbook and doing the exercises in it. Not only was it a cool learning experience, but it was also just a nice way to reflect. I spent time thinking about how I interact with the world and meditating on my personality. This book was a really nice way to do some self-reflection, learn about mediation for getting in tune with your emotions, and I learned a lot about the physical effects of our emotions. All in all, this was just a lovely workbook for learning how to be emotional healthy, regardless of if you’re an empath or not.

This was a great book that allowed me to find out just who I am and how I tick.
Before reading this book, I didn’t know that empath was. As I got deeper into the chapters, I could see my self in many of the pages. I could not answer yes to all of the questions to see if I am empath. This book has great exercises for finding out what kind of a person you really are. I especially liked the Chapter 4, “Energy and Emotion”. I have always been very sensitive. This book provides exercises in each chapter to define if you are an empath and what areas might be your gifts. This was a great book that allowed me to find out just who I am and how I tick.

Life changing
I’m finding this workbook to be life changing. I’ve always know I feel things and others “energy “ and emotion. This intuition has helped me a lot throughout my life. I’d just never knew there was an actual term for what I am. It’s like finally having someone understand something you’v Never been able to express in fear of seeming weird. The tools given are helpful and written with warmth. Her writing is informative but also seems more conversational than clinical text. You don’t have to be an Empath to benefit. Anyone looking for self growth and ways to be more emotionally intelligent will benefit.

So so helpful and good. Seriously
Every page in this book was like...oh my gosh! Yes! Things resonated so well. From every question you have to the ones you didnt even realize you had, this book covers it. I loved the quizzes to the tips and even general information. I felt something from every page! If you are new to your gifts or awakening or developing further what you know you posses..this book is a MUST read! I have bought four more for friends!
