It says die cast which should be metal, but the picture looks a lot like plastic. Which is it?

How can someone supply an 'answer' like Desiree and it be totally incorrect?? This is a very heavy car with a metal die-cast body. The tow parts, mirrors and light bar are plastic, but Mater is one of the heaviest Disney cars they make..... Paul.
