Heavy duty = No worries!
Why worry about breaking that cheap plastic bracket, when you can fish with peace of mind? Just get it, it's strong. The S.S. is good quality. If you bump something, this thing isn't breaking, or cracking. The now built in splash guard is a big plus for sure. I highly recommend this item!!

100 times better than PLASTIC mounts.
Tired of those older OEM plastic transducer mounts? Garmin finally got smart and are using this mount as the new OEM mounts sold for fishfinders/chartplotters and it is well worth the price. Less "interference" from bubbles and water flow direction when mounted near a boat's bottom ribs. The "wing" plate helps deflect water up and away from transducer's working areas (side and down scanning).

Not Just For Transom Mounting
Arrived quickly. Fits perfectly on my transducer pole mount from FishFinderMounts.com. Now I can use either with pontoon boat or kayak.

I used this bracket to replace the plastic on that came with the GT 54 transducer - it's complete all the bolts & it's all Stainless Steel
