Wanted a tripod style laser level but thought they would be too expensive. Found this very inexpensive one that looked like it would fit the bill. Used it to install some pictures on the wall and it made the job very easy. The laser was extremely bright and easily visible under any lighting condition. The auto leveling was good and the carrying case indeed added to the nice package. The only negative, which was not that big a deal, was the tripod. Since it only extends to 39" it is useless for hanging pictures, unless you like them really low on the wall. I ended up using a ladder with some boxes on it to have the laser at the level I wanted. I have a camera tripod but it would not go up that high. Maybe there is some sort of tripod extension that screws into the head, don't know. All in all this inexpensive made the job oh so very easy. Would recommend.

Self-leveling function kicks in fast and holds steady. Tripod feels sturdy enough for everyday DIY use, though the mounting knob could turn a little smoother. Comes with a solid carrying case. Good value for home projects.

I bought a laser level thinking it would help hang shelves. What it actually did was save my marriage. Before this thing, every project started with confidence and ended with one of us standing back going: “Why does it look crooked?” And the other person saying: “It’s the ceiling.” Now the laser hits the wall and suddenly facts enter the conversation. The tripod is sturdy, the lines are bright, and setup is stupid easy. I’ve used it for pictures, shelves, curtains, and projects I absolutely should’ve measured before drilling. At one point I caught myself trusting the laser more than my own eyesight. Which honestly was the correct decision. No more “hold this side higher.” No more “I swear it looked level from over there.” No more accidentally inventing abstract wall art. This thing brought peace back into the household one straight line at a time.

After 6 months the lock function stopped working. No big deal. 3 days ago (was 1 year... the charger wire broke inside and the battery also went bad. Was able to charge it but it would only work for about 5 minutes then shut off. It would not even work while charging on a different cable. It worked fine for a couple projects but has no longevity, tripod flimsy and limited. "Good" features, but poorly executed.

This laser level is great! I needed to set up curtain rods but was weary as I wasn’t sure if I was leveled or not, but this lasers light is so bright! And the alignment is perfect. I was able to use it to set up two curtain rods as well set up a shelf with no fear of wondering if I was properly leveled. It is a time saver as well being I didn’t have to guess anymore. This is a game changer and I’m so glad I came across it!

This is not a heavy duty construction laser like a DeWalt or Milwaukee. That being said, at 10% of the price of those brands this is a great little laser set including case and tripod useful for hanging pictures and doing smaller home jobs. The green laser light is bright and easy to see. The tripod fits in the case too which is great. It even drops a plumb line too. Simple to use with adequate instructions. Rechargeable so no batteries are needed. I couldn't be happier with this and several friends are ordering one too.

I bought this for a specific project and it worked fine, but then I put it in a closet for a year and the battery died. When I went to charge it for the first time, it would not charge at all. For $20 which was the price at the time I guess I can't complain too much
