Perfect for orthodox candles
This candleholders are very well made and good for the variety of sizes of the Orthodox bee wax candles . If you have a good quality wax candles- they would stay firmly in the candle holder. If your candles are mix of the wax and lots of the paraffin, then , for them to stay firm in a little hole I would remember to dripping wax in the hole . Let wax chill and it’s will secure the candle and it’s will be prevent fire hazard. Takes a second to do , but works as a magic . Candle holder is easy to clean with pouring a hot boiled water over it or by wrapping the little scissors or using a large nail wrapped in a piece of paper towel, as well , and wiping inside the whole . Wax on top of candle holder is easy to wipe with a paper towel applying pressure. Or pure hot boiling water over it . I found those 2 methods “wet” and “ dry ‘“ is easy . Personally I prefer dry method. I have 8 sets of those candle holders . Would buy them in a chakra Colours or black colour. I don’t understand why this item got so many negative reviews. I love this candle holders a lot !

Small but elegant
Very stylish shabbat candleholders but probably only accomodates the matchup beeswax candles due to very small diameter holes.

Not as expected
I had a bunch of these small 1/4 inch candles, so I bought these as a holder. They are not what I expected, as they were hollow and very lightweight as far as the materials go. And the hole to insert the candles was both too shallow the too narrow to get the candles in or stay standing up. Fortunately, I have a drill press in the basement and drilled down to open up the holes in the hollow area. The holes are still a bit too narrow, but I got around that by heating the wax on the bottom of the candles until they were soft and I could push them in deep enough to stand up.

Beautiful accent for these wonderful natural beeswax candles
I purchased these for an event and set them in a little tray. Everyone loved them and I enjoyed them so much, I took them home after the event and set them on my counter.

HOLE IS TOO SMALL
Love the white color. Trouble fitting the candles in and they were not secure.

It’s difficult to find that size candle. Any suggestions?

Adorable but read...
Very shallow hole so! Before you send it back, you can make it work. Just carve a bit of the end of your candle into a point almost so it's a bit smaller, also exposing the wick at the end, light that in fire, and then hold over the hole drip a bit of wax and press quickly into the hole. The candle wick sticks into the dripped wax and holds the candle perfectly. A little maneuvering and these are perfect for a hard to find slim taper candle base! Took me 5 seconds to do, and is worth it!I don't think the construction of the product makes it necessarily worth 20 dollars. But whereas bases for candles this size are hard to find, it makes it worth it.

Ok, when used correctly.
To use these safely you must hold a flame at the bottom (of the candle) for a moment in order to slightly melt the beeswax, then place the candle into the holder and hold until the wax cools off. This will hold the candle in properly. I do wish the hole was deeper so that it was not necessary to melt wax into the hole to keep the candle stable. The alternative is to create a sand stand and place these small candles in sand. There are limited holders for 7mm thick candles. These are good for the price point.
