Castle Art Supplies 24 X 12ml Watercolor Paint Set for Adults - New Formula

These watercolor paints are great for filling in my pans. The only complaint I have is that I was given two tubes of the same color so I am missing one of the colors. These are good for beginners and they are a good value for the money.

I bought these as my first set of watercolor paints. They were cheap and arrived quickly. They have nice looking packaging and worked well enough for my first experiences. They are 12ml tubes and had a 24 colors. I have not noticed any bad odors. They can be diluted with water and can be mixed with each other for a large range of colors. They would be great for kids or beginners. I will continue to use them, but I discovered that these were not artist quality, for the price they're great!

Good product: I enjoyed all the colors. The box is practical and attractive. The tubes are practical for traveling. Very attractive water colors.

These paints are good for beginners or kids. I like the tubes and they have a lot of variety. The saturation isnt top notch but they worked well for me to start learning watercolors. Great for hobbyists and kids to learn colors and color mixing, but as ive learned more and.can compare to other brands they are somewhat overpriced.

I am new to watercolor and these paints are amazing! I have tried the pens and pallet, they don't compare to these tubes! There are so many colors, they dry well and because you add water, it's easy to control the darkness/lightness of the colors. They is no odor, the tubes are durable and the paints are easy to use.

i dont like writing reviews! but for this i felt i had a duty to! ive always loved baked paint and recently i had the incredible opportunity to be introduced to two internationally recognized watercolor artist who both swear by Daniel Smith paint! one of the artist gifted me with a whole tray and i understand why Daniel Smith is the best of the best! however i noticed my paintings was not as vibrant and creative as i felt too “stingy” to use as much as i normally would! so i went on the hunt for something more affordable i could use while i explore tube paint until i am confident enough to switch over to my Daniel Smith tubes without the fear of wasting it. Castle was the closest i could find with great reviews and similar shades. AND THEN IT ARRIVED!! not just the paint but instructions and guides as if it was a tiny starter kit to ALL YOU NEED TO KNOW as if you are a first time student!! a booklet on essentials, n booklet on “how to” , about washes and textures and brush strokes!! even n color card and a picture of the castle ready to paint! ON WATERCOLOR PAPER!! its not just watercolor! its like your favorite teacher giving you the answer sheet for a test because they want you to succeed! im so happy i chose this paint and im confident that it will not be my only order! thank you Castle for not only providing us with great paint, but including everything we need to succeed !

These are excellent watercolor paints. There is a large assortment of colors that can be easily mixed. The tubes are a perfect size. The paints don't have a strong odor; in fact, they don't have any odor at all. The paints, which cover a lot of paper with just a small amount, are smooth and creamy. I recommend this paint, not only to students and beginners, but also to professionals.
