this is a well built spray nozzle..... but i would reccommend using a 2.0 gpm pump to power it.
I bought this spray nozzle last week, to use to spray a 8 acre pasture occasionally for weeds, and also to use around my 15 acres of woods for weed control, and to keep the woods cleared of underbrush. first the bad. if your planning to use this with a 1.0 gpm pump, you might not like the results. I sure didn't. mounting it on my polaris ranger, it would spray approx. 3'-4' wider than the ranger on each side of it ( approx 15' overall. ) however the spray pattern was pretty iffy. I went to my woods to try it out, and it was " meh". directly behind the ranger, the 5' there got a decent / ok spray, but after that it got really sporatic. i was thinking i might have to return the nozzle at this point... I stuck a water hose on the nozzle after i got back home, and discovered that it definitely COULD spray, ( approx. 25' wide with a garden hose ) but just not at 1.0gpm / 30psi...... I replaced my pump with a 2.0gpm / 60psi model from rural king for $40.00... and it was a HUGE, HUGE, HUGE improvement. now it sprays approx. 25', and has a VERY good coverage, much heavier spray, and covers plants a lot better. I have no doubts it will easily spray the 8 acres now, i am VERY happy with it, and have no doubt it will get the job done. the second issue i had, it would not fit the tailgate on my ranger, as the tailgate was too thick for the clamp. ( my ranger tailgate is pretty thick, approx. 3.5" so I'm not digging the spray nozzle for this) I dont think this was a big deal though, my spray tank is a clear 55 gallon barrel that I bought for $6.00, and added a pump too it, so a removable mount is no big deal. I made a removable mount for the tailgate out of plywood, and painted it, and it works very well with the nozzle, I use two c clamps to attach it when I need it, so its easy to attach and remove as needed. it also raises it up a little higher which helps the spray pattern go wider. the spray nozzle is heavy and well made from brass and steel , and seems well constructed. I have little doubt that it will last a long time. I don't think I can break it easily, like many of the other plastic models that are out there. while the plastic ones are cheaper, they are not exactly tough. I am very happy with my purchase and would buy again, and recommend this to my friends. If I ever manage to break this one, or lose it, or need another, I will definitely, buy this one again.

Works
The spray nozzle works good, clamp wouldn’t fit my tailgate on my Honda so I just improvised a 2x4 strapped to my tailgate.

Well made but overpriced
It does what it says it will do. Quality is good but definitely pricey. Next time I would try and mount my own.

Works great
Wish I had this 20 years ago. It works way better than a boom and you’re not gonna break it off. I’ll give it five stars plus I’m buying another one.

Does the job
My husband was very satisfied with the coverage the nozzle gave

Do not buy from this seller, Zero support!!
Item was defective and poorly assembled. Item was returned, however the seller has been unresponsive and has not issued a refund to date😡. Plus I had to pay return shipping🤯! Find another seller if looking at his listings.

Needs a bigger size clamp
I was going to mount this on the front bumper guard of my kawasaki mule sx but the clamp is too small. So, guess I'll try and jerry rig it.

The harbinger of death for all things green.
Works really well, no more wobbly booms to rip off and plastic tips to constantly repair.I installed it and the most ghetto way possible but regardless it really puts out down the material, a solid 20 plus ft diameter pattern. My only advice is to mount my it low!Calibrate with plain water (this shouldn't have to be said).Take it apart and Teflon tape every pipe thread.Get a 2.2 gpm or larger pump. This is a must.Pair this thing with some Paraquot herbicide and you may as well be an ancient romen leaving a wake of scorched earth through Carthage.HERBA NOCET DELENDA EST!
