Three-Way Splitter Adapter for PetSafe Wi-Fi Smart Feed Automatic Dog and Cat Feeder

After buying my smart feeder from petsafe, I soon realized that, though my cats are respectful to each other and take turns, there was not enough space around the big bowl provided by petsafe to host three cats. This 3-way splitter works wonderfully. It splits the food equally and my three kitties can all enjoy their snacks at the same time without crowding each other (see picture) The splitter is very easy to install. It took me a few seconds to substitute. I cleaned the splitter before installing. It was easy to clean and dry.

I had two cheapo automatic feeders for my two cats but when I got a third cat last year I really didn't want to buy a third feeder. When I found out someone makes a three way splitter for a great quality wifi automatic feeder, I knew it was time to finally upgrade. I am so happy for this, the fact that it allows you to use any dish is awesome. One of my cats developed chin acne from the plastic dish that attached to the old machine and it wasn't compatible with any other dishes. Before they would compete for food and edge each other out and I'd have to monitor them when I was home to give the least aggressive eater her own food separately. Now they can all eat side by side in harmony.

This fit the feeder perfect for us! It’s so much easier feeding these beasts with three shutes. Thanks so much for making these!

When I revived it I was so mad. The only thing it was was cheap pieces of plastic and for that much price

I got 3-way splitter adapter with the plate holders. The Precision 3D Prints designed it on the fly and shipped it a day or two. I had to ask my husband to mount the plates to the holder since the parts were tight to get in. However, knowing my cats, who broke even a plastic pet door, I did want it to be very durable and stable after the installation. I had to travel for a week and after I came back, I could see that the cats were beating up on the plates; the entire system was moved away from the place I left it. But the plates were supposed to be and there was no mess around. By now I have the splitter with the plate holder for about a month. It is still functioning and doing its job. I highly recommend it.

If you have smaller kibble, then this would work great! I feed my cats science diet urinary+hairball dry food for reference, so if you have anything the same size as, or bigger than that, the food will constantly get stuck and it’ll clog the whole adapter. It’s not that big of a deal if you don’t mind sticking your finger or a small stick up to unclog it every once in a while.

The product itself is very sturdy and fits my PetSafe feeder perfectly. It's pretty obviously 3D printed on close inspection, you can see a lot of threads and the surface isn't smooth, but I don't think that's a drawback. I do with that each of the tubes ended a little higher up above the ground. There is maybe an inch, maybe a little less, of clearance space between the end of the tubes and the floor. The lip of my cat bowls go up higher than that, so even though that means that the tubes help keep the bowls from being pushed around, food also tends to get stuck below and behind them. The tubes also end up taking up some space in the bowl, so the "effective eating space" in each bowl has been reduced by 25%.

I have 3 cats: 2 adults and 1 kitten and since installing this, they all seem to get along at feeding times. Seems like the kitty finally understands which one is his bowl and that he'll always have food.
