Pinnacle Studio 20 and newer is a really difficult-to-use product that I gave up on
I'm rating the software, not the vendor that I purchased from. While this price was a good deal, the software is more bloated than ever and it is no longer easy to figure out like very old versions were. I last purchased Studio v7, and I may have upgraded to 8... Back then, you could edit scenes very easily: the main thing I always want to do it cut out some frames or copy a group a frames to make a new video. With v20, I could not figure out what to do at all. It took a long time to install and needed updates and took a huge amount of disk space and system resources to use. I will stick with VideoPad Editor instead because it allows easy frame selection without going through an extensive training program to figure out.

Timeline doesn't work properly!
Absolutely horrible product. I *LOVED* Pinnacle Studio 9 back in the Windows XP days. I had a few MP4 files I wanted to edit, and thought this would do the trick. The Timeline feature doesn't work. When I slide the bar, I see NO PREVIEW VIDEO.I've watched youtube tutorials that all show preview video and make it look simple, but when I click on my timeline, I just see gray in the preview window, not actual video... The video plays in other modes, within Pinnacle, but not edit mode… I can't see the clip, so I can't even trim a video or do basic editing. Total garbage. The only reason I didn't return it is because it came with "MyDVD" which I need since Windows 10 dropped all the cool movie maker and dvd maker stuff that Windows 7 used to have... I will get some use out of that. If I ever figure out the timeline, I'll revise my review, but for now I think this product stinks....
