The app was no longer supported and the new app would not connect to the switch.This product was very easy to install. The nice thing about it is that it does not need to connect to the LAN. It is independent, however, this means you need the controller that comes with it. This is fine, except, you are limited to the settings on that controller. So if you only want 30 minutes of run time, you have to shut it off manually as the minimum run time is 1 hour, then 2 then 3 etc. The controller should have more preprogrammed options.
