Depending on the texture you would like to achieve with frosting you may be able to blend it enough to add it but would probably have to cool it afterwards so that it sets better and can be worked, I would try with small amounts. Guava jelly might work better, but may also soften the consistency quite a bit. There may be some trial and error involved, but it could be worth a try, the guava flavor will certainly come through. :) **Q: Why did the price go up from $1.16 in December 2020 to $4.22 in January 2021? Really in less than a month!** A: I was wondering exactly the same thing, I just chocked when I try buy agin and saw the price. Can’t understand why it went up SO much in one month. So, I didn’t buy, and I will not. **Q: Is this product sticky and gooey, or can you cut it cleanly into slices?** A: This product is very sticky, but not gooey. I've been able to cut it into slices just fine, though handling it can make everything very sticky. **Q: can I use the guava paste if two or three months paste the use by date?** A: I mean you CAN do whatever you want to do. As long as it’s remained unopened in packaging and isn’t spoilt, might be ok. It’s pretty shelf stable but 2-3 months past expiration is pushing it. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Very good *by on Reviewed in the United Arab Emirates 9 March 2026* Very good ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Good product *by on Reviewed in the United Arab Emirates 19 February 2026* Good product. Great for desserts. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Sweet, Fruity and Really Good With Cheese *by on Reviewed in the United States 27 September 2026* I had never really thought about keeping guava paste around the house, but after trying this I can definitely see myself buying it again. The guava flavor is really noticeable and fruity, and it has a nice sweetness without just tasting like plain sugar. The texture is very thick and firm, which makes it easy to slice into whatever size pieces I want. My favorite way to eat it has been with cheese. The combination of the sweet guava with a salty or creamy cheese is really good, and just a few slices make an easy little snack. I've also tried it on crackers, which worked really well. There is quite a bit in the 14-ounce package because you don't need a huge amount at one time. I can also see this being really useful for baking or cutting into smaller pieces to add to pastries and desserts.I like that the ingredient list is relatively straightforward and that it is something I can use in several different ways instead of buying it for one specific recipe. It is definitely sweet, which is what I expected from guava paste, but the actual fruit flavor comes through nicely. This was a fun one to try and ended up being much more versatile than I expected. If you already like guava, especially paired with cheese, this is an easy recommendation. ## Frequently Bought Together - Iberia Guava Paste,14 Ounce (Pack of 3) - Conchita Guava Preserves, 11 oz - Essential for Your Pantry - Perfectly Sweet Addition to Any Breakfast Toasts - Conchita Guava Paste, 14 oz --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.hu/products/724929742-iberia-guava-paste-14-oz-pack-of-3](https://www.desertcart.hu/products/724929742-iberia-guava-paste-14-oz-pack-of-3) --- *Product available on Desertcart Hungary* *Store origin: HU* *Last updated: 2026-10-24*
