Lexar 2TB Portable Drive - nowhere near good enough
Does not work like other portable drives I have to unlock it every time with a password - annoying The saved files as icons do not show the image - just a simple graphic - of no use at all Sorry, waste of time - would not buy it again, can it be returned?

Super
This is awesome. I got this for my wife who was in awe of all the family pictures I had on my desktop. I had 121 gigabytes of family photos over the many years and when I saw this, I had an idea. I would give it to her with all those pictures on it. I did and it took awhile but not as long as I thought and certainly not as long as with a standard hard drive. And the best part is, is that I can do all our videos and still have more room. I just love this so much I am strongly considering getting my own for backups, gaming, etc. I am amazed all of the time with SSD drives.

Authenticity passed
The speeds promised are for usb 3.2 which is a 20gb/s speed. Having an m4 iMac my usb c transfers up to 10gb/s. The read and write speeds should be between 750mb/s and 950mb/s. This sl500 ssd successfully reaches those speeds. I also tested the two terabytes of space promised and the seller passed authenticity test. You can buy ssdโs from this seller.
