TOSHIBA Countertop Microwave Oven, 0.7 Cu.Ft, 700W, Black

I was after a cheap small microwave. This microwave saved me a fair bit of counter space from the previous one that was here. What I didn't expect is that it is my favorite microwave ever. Down sides - it's small (positive for me) it is lower watts so longer cook times, and the display is bright. Up sides - The beep can be disabled and the display toggled. The instruction manual was worth skimming for codes for options, other than that everything was intuitive. Using this microwave is awesome. No beeps at all once disabled. It just shuts off when done. The display can be toggled off by pressing the stop button. And when you press a number key by default it does that many minutes saving a button press. Of course the start button adds 30s making it easy to quickly get to a time. I wanted a cheap space saving one, but to my surprise found my favorite microwave.

Great little microwave! My old Hamilton beach reached its end after 9 years of heavy use. I wanted something medium sized and under 1500 watts. The unit as a whole looks sharp. The LED lighting is bright but I love it. The interior light is a soft blue which is nice as well. Its awesome to be able to mute the beeping lol I heated up some leftovers and its impressive. It only took 1:45 to heat up leftover steak, potatoes and asparagus. Everything was hot and nothing was cold or warm. Great value for the money! You can disable the child lock and beeping which is nice. I cook heavily so being able to operate quietly is key.

It looks nice and works reliably so far (several months in now). Not a big fan of the child-protection door lock feature because we don’t have children here and it makes you WAIT until it’s done beeping before it lets you unlock and open the door! :-/ I try to press cancel and unlock it before time’s-up to avoid waiting through the beeps. It is slower at heating than the big high-wattage ones, but overall we are getting used to its personality quirks and we are very happy with it.

This is a great little microwave. It fits a dinner plate perfectly, and for the lower wattage microwave, it heats food up fairly quickly. If you want to get rid of the door lock, it's very easy to do. You just have to hit two numbers and then hold the unlock button for like 3 seconds. Then it's gone. They even give you instructions for that right on top of the microwave. I'm very pleased with my purchase! Great job , Toshiba!

You can turn off the sound! (Although it resets if the power goes out.) You just hold the number 8. And you can turn off the display, in case you're bothered by intrusive light coming from it. (Just hit cancel a few times and the display light goes off.) This one was a bonus, since I didn't realize when buying that it could do this. But it makes me very happy. Overall, it's a small little microwave, which is what I needed because the electrical circuit it's on can't handle a big power draw. Only "downside" is that big popcorn bags tend to get stuck (can't turn) but...I actually like that since I like the taste of slightly burnt popcorn, ha. Otherwise it works great and heats fine.

This was a great choice from Amazon Resale! The microwave was in mint condition as described and a great space saver for dorm and apartment…. Even for RV and Campers. Was at a great savings and don’t even think it was ever removed from the box. Had all original packing materials and user manual. Toshiba & Amazon knocked it out of the park with this one. Easy to operate and I’m just really pleased with the quality! Was a great money saver too!

Works okay except for unlisted error code not listed in the user manual or online. It has to be powered off and on after anything is cooked. Seems okay otherwise.

Good unit. Smallest footprint I could find. Fits in a 12-1/2" deep cabinet and stands 9-1/4" tall. Perfect for my office need. I like the option to deactivate the child lock and to activate mute mode. For small task like heating up lunch this works perfect. Not a unit for primary food heating in home kitchen.
