I absolutely love this dress. It is roomy and comfortable. The pockets are great! I am 5' tall, about 194 lbs. I usually get at least XL, but listened to the advice to size down and I am glad I did. I got the Large and it fits perfectly. I will order more in different colors. ( I got the black and brown stripe - and THANK YOU for vertical stripes instead of horizontal.) I have also ordered this brand's pants and they are great also!!

This dress is a huge surprise. I mean that in a good way.The fit is spot on! I bought my 1st last fall, in a linen fabric, and it's surprisingly perfect for all seasons. It's a heavier linen, but!!! I learned that a quick press with juststeam before wearing softens it plenty, for a breezy, casual, summer dress.A bit of starch, and it can be dolled up for a more formal event, or for casual cool weather wear, including winter. Think leggings and flannels and sweaters and boots.Just got the blue one today that I ordered, and it's DENIM! Lighter weight denim, but not quite chambray. It's sturdy. I'm in love!The surprises? They're perfectly sized. The fabrics are sturdy, not flimsy, which means they'll wear well.And, lastly, they're surprisingly well constructed.BUY THIS DRESS!* but not all of them, I might want another in dark brown*

I wanted to like this dress. The buttons and fabric are nice and I liked the color but it’s cut so unusually that it’s difficult to explain. There are 2 giant flaps on the side that look like big wings and they make you look fat or deformed. The dress has points sewn in front so if you sit down, your knee caps have their own little coverings. I would have had to tailor this dress and didn’t have the motivation to do it myself and paying someone is expensive so had to return.

I really, REALLY, like this dress! I was also complimented on it by the ladies in the office which is meaningful because they don't lie and they're all office bit*h#s! I am 5'2", 205 lbs., and have a very big butt. This dress is light, not overly shear, hides the curvature I do not like, yet it's still flattering. It hides the tummy and flattens the butt. I ordered the striped dress. It is so roomy that I feel much thinner in it than I really am. I bought a 2X size, but the dress is actually too big.....if you are around my size, 5'2" to 5'4", around 200 lbs give or take, than I would definitely get the L or XL to start. If you're less than 185, definitely try the M. I haven't tried it yet, but am ordering two more dresses and may actually size all the way down to a M in this dress myself. When they say "oversized", it is oversized. I love the fact it is both linen and cotton because I live in Hawaii in a very warm climate.

...but I wonder sometimes if I look faintly ridiculous in it. I think it would look best on someone taller (over 5'3")

Looks really cute, and easy to style. One star removed for the lingering smell, almost like mothballs. This after a few washes, but it seems to be slowly dissipating.

I read the reviews before ordering. Amazon recommended I get an XL but all the reviews noted how large this dress is. When I read the sizing chart, I saw that I could buy the M. Glad I did! This is going to be a comfortable and loose cotton/linen dress for this very hot summer.Before you buy, make sure you check out the size chart they publish. It matter!

Looks like the picture, fits well, comfortable design. The dress has an odor. The odor still there after 3 washes.
