Surprisingly good, well made with only a few issues.
Tested and reviewed in Polar Ice Creamery (YouTube channel). Really good, a couple of issues but the best alternative to Ninja.

5 out of 5 Stars (5) โญโญโญโญโญ [REVIEW UPDATES] [TL;DR] [QUALITY] (5/5) [VALUE] (5/5) [EASE OF USE] (5/5) [MET EXPECTATIONS] (5/5) [PACKAGING] (5/5) [REVIEW REMARKS] This is a really easy machine to create your frozen concoctions. The push button programs take the guesswork out of how long, or what speed to set the machine on to get the desired outcome. With this machine, you receive three (3) containers with lids, scoop, cleaning cloth, and the instruction manual. The containers are pint sized and only one drawback is you need to have one of the containers empty to be able to lower the machine to store it its compact form. Also, DO NOT LOSE OR DAMAGE THESE CONTAINERS! To replace them, ordering them from IcyTreat directly is very costly. Each container was listed at $66.53 and another listed at $25.99, at the time of writing this review. Although this machine is not considered a one-and-done, it does create a decent end product. By one-and-done I mean that it also freezes the mix. With this ice cream maker, you prepare your base and freeze overnight. When you are ready to mix in your add-ins, just add to the base and mix it up with the selected consistency you are looking for. I found that after the machine finished, the ice cream was a little soft for my liking. I would freeze a little longer and make it a harder consistency. The parts are all easy to clean up afterwards. This machine will make two (2) pints at a time and the leaves the third pint container available to store the machine. Or if you keep the machine extended, you can make all three (3) pints. We usually will go the three (3) pint route and leave the machine open. It does not take up too much space on the counter. Actually, it is about the size of a smaller coffee maker. We like that there are options to make sorbet, icy drinks, milkshakes, along with ice cream. There is a lot to experiment with. The recipe book has some basic recipes included. If you look online there are many examples of recipes to try on different settings, even though they are meant for other manufacturers models. This is like a blender, but with a defined purpose. This speciality is what makes it worth having. All in all, if you are a fan of ice cream, this is a simple device to help you make your own frozen treats in the comfort of your own home. It is a great way to make all natural ice cream and control which ingredients you include. This is good for the health conscious, and the frugal alike. The outlay can be considered a little dear, especially if you are on a budget. However, ice cream can become expensive to purchase. With a machine to help you make your own, it will prove to be an investment over time. If you are a casual ice cream consumer, this may not be something worth the investment. Aside from that, this is a quality home appliance that is easy to maintain and clean and makes decent ice cream. It is not instant ice cream, but it is the next best thing. Highly recommended. In the event that experiences change or evolve, updates may be made to this review to address such developments.

Great Ice Cream Maker, Great Seller!
I am extremely happy with my purchase. The ice cream maker came with very detailed and clear instructions, and a great recipe book that includes an extensive variety of frozen treat options. The machine itself is very easy to use, and is extremely versatile in terms of the types of frozen treats that you can make. It is well-engineered, and is easy to clean and to store. The seller followed up with offers to help with anything, if needed, and to provide more recipe ideas. I highly recommend this seller and this product.

Good performance, plenty of modes, reasonable build, but with one minor issue...
Tested this thing thoroughly over the past couple of days and it's mostly good (some great), but there were times that it struggled (which I'll get into later) so it's not quite a perfect machine. First of all, the build is actually pretty good. It's not entirely made of stainless steel as the title would suggest, but actually a combination of metal and plastic. But it has the suction cup feet like most of my juicers and they turned out to be necessary for some of the ice cream modes. The entire back portion of the machine also moves up and down so it's not just the paddle (like in the Creami), but it takes forever just to get it back down to the "store" position at the end. And I have to have it that low to store it underneath my cabinets, which was a bit of a bummer. Love that the pints come with handles because it's super convenient to pull out of the fridge, but the silicone lids are just a bit soft and flimsy. Really wish they were a bit stiffer. Performance however, is very good on the milkshake, gelato, sorbet and frozen yogurt, and slightly above average for the rest (except the frozen drinks which I never tested). The biggest issue for me was that the machine sometimes struggled at the very bottom for some unknown reason. Not sure if it's the gear in the back or the ridges on the circular paddle, but on the regular ice cream mode it really started to wobble at the bottom. Thank goodness for those suction feet is all I'll say. It happened again on the frozen yogurt mode, but only once since I ran it twice with a re-spin. Worked perfectly fine for the slushi and icyccino modes, but I started to use the "Top" mode after that. And that's really what I love about this machine. Once you prepare all your ingredients in the freezer overnight, you don't actually have to use all of them at once. You can just churn the top half and put the rest back in the fridge for later. So not only can you make ice cream YOUR way, but also cut down on the portions. Cleaning was a piece of cake too because you can pop out the metallic shaft and from a distance it really looks nice with the shiny black. Thank goodness it comes with a microfiber towel though because it's somewhat of a fingerprint magnet. And the included scoop isn't bad either. Overall though, I can't really compare it to any of its closest competitors because I've never owned any, but I will say that it's about as loud as I expected. Very similar in volume to my juicer motors, only less consistent depending on the ingredients in the pint. The ice cream that it produces is a little on the wet side most of the time which is why it's better on the softer varieties (whoever invented the lime-mint sorbet is a genius), but if you're a fan of frappuccinos or Ice Capps, you'll probably really enjoy the icyccino mode. Not quite sure what's up with the motor when it gets to the bottom sometimes, but it doesn't always happen and the frame seems to be able to take the extra effort. Like I said before, when in doubt, just stick with the top mode and you'll be fine. Yet to use it over the long-haul, but I'll be doing some additional tests with frozen drinks during the summer as well as giving the included recipe book a go and might report back with a little more info. For now, I'd say it's deserves a solid 4.25/5 stars. Definitely a good, borderline very good machine.
