STAR BRITE Non-Skid Deck Cleaner & Protectant Ultimate Boat Deck Wash - Protects Against Future Stains & UV - Ideal for Fiberglass, Vinyl, Plastic, Painted & Metal Surfaces

I compared this with two other products side-by-side on a non-skid white deck on my Boston Whaler boat and this one won hands-down. I couldn't believe the difference. My boat's deck has been getting dirty from normal foot traffic for some time now (years) and although I pressure wash it several times during the boating season at around 2000psi, it doesn't come clean. With Star Brite Non-Skid Deck Cleaner, just wet the deck, sprinkle some product on the deck or a brush, and then scrub vigorously. Let it sit for about 5 minutes and scrub again. Rinse with plain water from a garden hose (pressure washer not necessary) and be amazed at how much cleaner your deck is. It's now 95% as clean as when the boat was new. I'd say it was 70% clean with the other methods I tried. While your results will undoubtedly vary depending on what caused the stains you're trying to remove, it's definitely worth a try if your stains are from soil, fish, oil, or vegetable matter.If you have rust stains you'll probably need something that contains oxyalic acid.If it's hard water stains you're fighting, dilute hydrochloric (AKA Muriatic) acid is the best, although a dangerous solution. Wear skin, and eye protection and work in an actively ventilated area if you use that one. It gives off chlorine gas. You can try a tamer product like LimeAway but you'll have to reapply several times and scrub harder to get the same results.

We vacation at a nearby lake a couple of times a year and rent a deck boat each time. Over the course of a couple of weeks of fishing the boat becomes fairly dirty. My brother-in-law and I have always used scrub brushes and dish soap to clean the floor of the boats in the past, which takes forever and leaves our backs and knees spent. Decided to do something different this year and bought this product along with a boat deck brush. I tried cleaning the boat with the deck brush initially, but it wasn’t coming very clean. Poured a little of this on the already wet deck of the boat and began scrubbing. The dirt lifted, leaving the white gel coat spotless. We were able to clean the boat in about 15 minutes instead of taking over an hour. Highly recommended product! Works much better than liquid dish soap.

A small amount of this cleans a lot of deck. The catfish slime, blood etc seems to loosen up quicker than regular soap. After rinsing there is no residual, regular soap can be tough to get off completely. Not 5 stars only because the product is sold in the slickest, slipperiest plastic bottle that makes me feel like I've had a stroke because I'm always dropping it.I recommend this to all fishermen.

Very good cleaner, have blood stains from catfish and it came right out of boat. Sprayed on let set for a minute and washed right off.

OMG - My boat was so dirty I was about to set it on fire. The floor just disgusted me.
