No need for grade A beans for making vanilla extract. I used Tahitian beans and vodka for my first bottle I made for myself. It turned out great (after 6+months) of curing. I’ve now added Madagascar and Bourbon to my next personal bottle. The picture is if “forever” vanilla that I am making for my daughters’ Christmas gifts. Bought the bottles on Amazon too. These are Tahitian Beans with vodka as well (we are 2 months in to curing!). Don’t hesitate to buy these! They are just perfect!!!

These are the best. Perfect for home made vanilla and many other delicious creations. I re-purchased these to be used in making vanilla sugar. I have also used in creating flavored butters and I have my own vanilla bean paste which is great added in a wide variety of dishes. These vanilla beans are so flavorful and they smell great. I have used whole or split open and scraped out the deliciousness depending on my intended use. These are fresh and have a great texture. Making your own products is so much better than store-bought when using these premium vanilla beans.

First time buying vanilla beans, so I am not entirely sure what to expect, but these seemed perfect for my homemade vanilla extract. I got a 12 pack of Amber Bottles and had enough beans to fill all. There was not 26 beans in the package I received, there was 29- a nice surprise! They were moist, and smelled delicious! They aren't huge, though accurate size in description.
