I love compilations of the 60's. Being born in this era. I obviously love this album. It covers the whole of the decade has different types of popular music.

This is very nice collection of the well known but also some lesser known tracks roughly recorderd between 1967-1970. These are all original recordings and the sound quality is excellent. The focus not only lays on the American west-coast songs but also on the British side. There is even room for the dutch popgroup Shocking Blue with there smashhit Venus. What I like most of this 4 disc album is the presence of some lesser known groups/artists as Pentangle, Simon Dupree, Strawberry Alarm Clock and The Syndicate of Sound.
