Great little shredder. Yeah, it’s loud when running but it gets the job done. So far I’ve tried single sheets, five at a time, folded papers, stapled papers, and credit cards. All went through fine, though the thicker batches I do have to kind of push through the feeder. I have not found any jamming issues so far. It’s great for regular home use or small home business. It’s small enough that I keep it in a corner and bring it out when needed. It’s very easy to use and I just dump the shreds in the regular trash when the bin is full.

I have used this brand in the past and i like the way it shreds paper. It is a good value for the price. I do recommend the lubrication sheets to keep your shredder humming along and working soundly. I shred all documents that have my information on it and for spam mail sent to me, I can enjoy the thrill of just shredding it in the envelope (although I do check to make sure no one put a nickel or penny inside). I have not had jamming issues, but I do respect the page limit. It does slow down if you put a lot of paper in at once. So I usually pull back for the next batch until I forget again. The function keys are simple. I appreciate that there is an auto, plus a forward and backward to help undo a paper jam quickly and easily. They shred portion top is a little heavy (but well made) and it is very simple to move about the house for all my shredding needs. I like that there is a window to keep an eye on the level of paper, but if you accidentally overfill it, the top pops up and stops working so that is also helpful. I would not recommend this for an office. it is just for home use, but it has a good capacity and has not overheated on me. When I take the top portion off, there are generally always some strips of paper that get loose, so i try to tap that against my garbage bin first to prevent it from getting on the floor.

This item is a daily essential in our house because we get so much junk mail and credit card offers. Instead of throwing everything in the trash, we started shredding to reduce our risk of credit card fraud, and we meet that 5.5 gallon storage capacity quick. It doesn’t feel like cheap quality, but I wouldn’t recommend trying to shred more than a few pages at once. All in all, it feels like this shredder meets our needs and will last us awhile.

Apr 2023 Update: 6+ months and this thing is still going strong! Just bought shredder oil sheets for the first time ever because how durable it's been! Original Review: So far this is the best shredder I've ever owned by a wide margin! Glad I spent a little bit more money on a much higher quality product (I got the 10min one too), this is the best bang for your buck! I've had a few shredders before in the ~$40 range (mostly Staples ones) that broke pretty quickly -- this one really doesn't cost that much more, comparatively. They'd only be able to do like 5 sheets (nowhere near 12) and eventually plastic bits would start falling out of the insides and it would stop working. If you put in like 4 sheets and folded one accidentally, those would jam immediately. Then the jams would be hard to clear and could damage the shredder. Or you'd run it for like a minute and it would start overheating already and start malfunctioning. So far, with this shredder, in a few weeks' time period, I already shredded more than I have in the past 5 years combined. Probably did like ~10,000 sheets of lots of old documents. That's how much of a powerhouse this shredder is compared to all the other ones I've owned previously! So it's been easily worth the money already as it has outlasted the others that would start malfunctioning at ~1,000 sheets. It's also never jammed on me! I've never tried 12 sheets on it, but it'll do 6 sheets no problem, whereas my previous shredders would start falling apart -- literally -- if you tried 6 sheets. And this thing can run for like an hour without overheating! Like I get tired out and I have to take a break well before it overheats. Whereas with previous ones, I'd spend like 2 minutes and already had to wait for it to cool down. Now the bottleneck isn't the shredder, but me! Also, because it's been so durable so far, I'm no longer afraid of shredding things here and there, worried that the shredder might suddenly break. Sometimes I shred some old documents as a therapeutic, meditative activity now -- shred your worries away xD It also holds more paper than my previous shredders before I have to clean it out. And while it is taller than I expected, that surprisingly made it more ergonomic so I didn't have to lean over as much while shredding. As some reviewers have noted, when I got it I did check the insides and did see some bits of shredded paper. That seemed sketchy, but it does say on the note that comes with it that they "test every shredder" and so that's why you might see some leftover bits. And honestly, even if it is used, it's outlasted my previous shredders by a 10x margin already, so it's good quality stuff either way. So, overall, well worth the price, best bag for my buck I've had with a shredder. Bonsaii also has a 1-year warranty (and the reviews seem to say that they've made good on that too!), which is why I originally bought it with my past shredder purchases going awry. But I guess it's as they say, if a company is confident in such a long warranty, the product probably isn't going to break quickly! Hoping to have this last for many more years :)

Let me just say this machine has not jammed up on me. One time you can watch my video. You even saw me put cardboard through it. I absolutely love this product. It makes it so much easier to get rid of my cardboard boxes. My paper that I don't need great durability. I'm using it at home. Quality is amazing and the top of it is so little that it's got the safety feature where you cannot get your finger stuck in it. Great for home use or office And I would definitely recommend this product over and over again. And customer service was so helpful because the first one I got had a crack in the bottom of the bin and literally they overnighted me a brand new one.

Does a great job at cross cutting. Have filled the bin 2x. No issues. It is loud, but not horrible. No concern there. The Auto setting seems to stay on about 8-10 sec before turning off. Overall, more than satisfied with the unit and feel price was appropriate.

This shredder is incredibly robust and extremely efficient. I've owned a couple of different brands over the years, but this is by far the best one I've ever used. One of its biggest advantages is its excellent run time. Unlike other shredders I've owned, it doesn't constantly stop to cool down, allowing you to work through a large pile of unwanted documents without endless interruptions. It makes the whole process much quicker and far less frustrating. Overall, this is a brilliant, well-built, and reliable shredder that offers excellent value for money. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to anyone looking for a high-quality shredder.

This shredder has exceeded my expectations in every way. Well worth the money! This shredder is a beast! I have tried shredding 10 sheets of paper at a time and it handled that with ease. The construction also appears to be of high quality so I expect it will last for a long time. I have used an inexpensive shredder in the past which not only was slow, but also jammed up frequently.
