Doing Philosophy: An Introduction Through Thought Experiments 5th Edition

Got this for a class, it was just what I expected. It was used, and had a bit of wear but fine for what I need it for

The book really opened my mind to a lot of things I had never considered before.The only thing I didn't like was I felt like the author was trying to get me to quit believing in God.The book outlines, logically, all the different reasons that God can NOT exist. And it stated that if you are an intelligent person, then you will recognize these logical reasons, and if not, then you are, and I quote, "a fool". That I did not like.However, it didn't change my faith, because no matter what anyone says, I will continue to believe in God; logical or not.Faith isn't about logic. Faith is about believing in something that although you can not prove, you truly know it's true in your heart.Theists: I don't suggest this book or class unless it's required or if you want to open your mind to other ideas. Those that are not so open-minded to anti-theistic views, I would not recommend it.For everyone else, as long as you have an open mind to at least considering new ideas, and not necessarily accepting them, then this book is for you.

Even though this book is used, it is still in good condition.

This is my 2nd book rented though Amazon, all books have been is great condition. And they are easy to rent and return! And at a competitive price. Great for students on a budget!

Kindle version would have been very useful. This book was bought for my son as he is doing his college work but it would have been nice to be able to load it on my kindle for my own reading.

Class barely used the book....Answers for the quizzes were on google....-$70.Serious talk the dialect and concepts are sometimes a little difficult for a non-philosopher to understand.

Book arrived before the expected date and it was brand new. The only problem is that the cover is upside down compared to the book pages - what does not prevents me from reading it.
