Great movie
Getting red Hulk in live action is great. Whilst this isn't the best of the Captain America movies, it is a solid entry in the MCU. Like comics have for decades, certainly has on point social commentary. Overall, a decent movie.

OK addition to the CA series of films.
This was a pretty good movie and I enjoyed it, no where near as bad as some of the YouTube reviewers would have you believe, but they tend to hate everything Marvel releases these days.

Not so brave
Most of the MCU films since End game have been hit or miss as far as quality goes, with only a few that are of a level of what has come before, and this film was always going to have difficulty finding it's audience regardless of it's quality. Replacing an established and beloved character with a new one is always going to be tough, even if it does kinda follow the comic books, but most MCU film fans do not even read comic books so they are not necessarily going to be that accepting, even if it Sam is already an established character. The film itself just really does not have that strong of a storyline, with multiple antagonists, none of who are really that well fleshed out within the story. First it is Sidewinder who just comes across as a character thrown into the film for the sake of it. Then there is Thunderbolt Ross who while not the enemy per se, is certainly an antagonist. And we all know he will become Red Hulk as pretty much all of the film promotion was built around that even though he only appears about 25 mins from the end of the film and seems to last about 10 mins onscreen. The trailers were obviously used to distract from there being another antagonist who was the real big bad of the movie. When he is finally revealed there is no real surprise as they pretty much gave it away right at the start of the film with a semi-flashback sequence. None of the battles really were that amazing, and were over in no time, and the big bad (no spoilers on who it is) really wasn't even a threat at the end as he pretty much just gives up. Overall the performances from everyone were great. The action scenes were great, but the story was lacking. Not as bad as some make it out to be, but certainly not one I will revist that often unlike The Marvels which was utter tripe. It just feels like a stepping stone for what is to come.
