Yes, it has the European plug included , it adapts to either 120 or 240 volts.

Q: How long does this battery last?

It depends on how long and often you're using it. If I go out and am taking continuous photos I can use the same battery for a few hours. I find that to be pretty decent as I'm taking thousands of photos. I found the batteries to be comparable to the actual name brand ones. One suggestion is make sure you charge them fully to get the best usage.

Q: The charger light is red while charging...but it never turns to green even when the battery shows that it is full. Is this to be expected?

Charger should turn green when battery is fully charged..mine does.
