I had an old rotisserie from my old grill, and I upgraded it using All-thread from the hardware store. That turned out to be a nightmare to clean, and the heat instantly discolored it. So, I bought this to upgrade it, and it is working perfectly now! No more All-thread on my grill, taking 30 mins to clean.

Yes it worked just like it should

I bought this for my husband to use with a vintage spit motor. He had to improvise to make it fit (which has nothing to do with the spit rod) but it works great. I also bought him forks from the same company to go with it. We've cooked some very large chickens using the rod and forks, but they had no trouble supporting the weight. I'm surprised at how juicy the chickens turn out with this method of cooking.

I had a three peice rod, but it could only manage two chickens at a time because of the couplings. The three peice even unwound itself once. What a disaster that was. Any way this one does the trick. Glad that I found it.

This is a three part shaft. It can come apart as you are cooking. I have to tighten it at least twice when cooking a chicken. It is also harder to clean because you need to take it apart to clean it.

This product lasted two uses then both long nuts stripped and both ends of the center rod stripped. Invest in a better rod this is poorly made and not worth the time.

It is long enough to fit our 5 burner grill and strong enough to turn the meat without bowing in the middle

I was excited for this product, but when it showed up the connection joints were slightly rusted. I cleaned them and proceeded to use it to rotisserie a prime rib roast. When I pulled the spit out this is what the joints looked like. I washed them thoroughly and dried them and felt like they rusted even more and the patina got really dark. I’m not using them again after that.
