OMG!! I absolutely LOVE these protector cords for my oxygen line. They have saved my cat's life, as she has chewed through 4 lines and I was at my wit's end with her chewing. I did struggle a little to wind them on but it was well worth the work it took. Great job!

The media could not be loaded. I bought these in 2022 when one of my cats chewed an optical cable. I bought a braided cable to replace that one, and since she left it alone, I never used these. Cut to last week when I moved a lamp back to where the Christmas tree had been. She suddenly decided the cord of this lamp, specifically the part nearest the plug, was her greatest enemy. Luckily, I knew exactly where these were stowed.The wraps are a little bit annoying to install. I found it easier to estimate how much I would need and then trim off the end. I think you could also cut it in shorter pieces for easier wrapping. The breaks should align fairly easily once wrapped.Please see attached video for a demonstration of their effectiveness.

This product works great to make sure that your pets do not chew through your extension cords and plugs. This product protects the cords very well and our cats and dogs never have chewed through the hard protective plastic of this product. The product takes a while to install because you have to twist it onto the cord which takes a while to complete an 8 ft cord. This product saves our pets and our house from the possibility of electrocution or an electrical fire. I would recommend this product if you have pets that like chewing on anything that they can find. This product will have your money in the long run in the case that your pet chews up your cords.

I’ve gotten two different products to try and prevent my cats from chewing wires. One was a anti-chew contact wrap that goes around wiring, and then this one. This product is far superior. My cats become no longer interested in chewing wires after putting this on. This differs from the anti-chew contact wrap that exists out there.This is such a good product. Yes, it’s tiresome to install, but it works so well, it is more than worth it. I have ordered it several times and have never been disappointed.

I got a set of these to keep my two new kittens from chewing and playing with my cords. Unfortunately, after taking 30 minutes to wrap this around my computer cord, the cats were actually MORE attracted to it. They love playing with these things! It does protect the cord from getting chewed (kinda, I think eventually their teeth will find a way through the slots). But, they are having way too much fun with them to use them for the job they were made for… and they take WAY too long to put on each cord. I did keep them, but only because it would take too long to remove them from the items I attached them to, and I did use them to make a cool new cat toy for them. We have a cat famous for chewing up wires, it gets costly! A friend recommended these and I’m so glad! We can put more than one wire in, which makes for nice organization. Very flexible but also has a nice thickness to them. Super easy to use and they look rather nice as well. I didn’t think it would be effective, but not a single wire has been chewed in months!! 100% recommend!!

Great coverage of cords. They function as I expected once on. It did take a little patients winding around the cords, but I am happy with these and would order again if I need them.

This review is based on use with a bunny:I did a lot of research before buying these. A lot of highly rated products were mostly reviewed by cat owners (or other non-bunnies), and the few bunny owners writing reviews said it didn’t work for them. I chose these!I wrapped all the cords with these before my latest foster bunny arrived; minus one star because it was harder and took a lot longer than I thought it would to cover a few cords. I finally got a rhythm going on the 3rd one, but make sure you’re not short on time when you do this.Tip: cut each wrap into short pieces - in half, thirds, or fourths - and add more as needed. The short pieces go on faster and when it’s all on, there’s no difference between 4 short pieces and 1 long piece.Now the bunny part: she sniffed the wrapped cords and tried to bite one on them, and the cords deterred her! She hasn’t tried again, and it’s been 6 weeks.That said, some bunnies chew on cords and some just don’t care. If you’re lucky, it’s enough just to make sure the cords aren’t in their way and use these as extra insurance.If you have a bunny that actively seeks out cords that aren’t in their regular path and is determined to chew them, could they get through these wraps? It’s possible - they are plastic, not metal - and you may be better off gating the area off, but these should at least make it so hard that they would get bored and move on to a suitable chew toy! Give them something else to do, and give these a shot.
