I needed these anti-embolism stockings for my 90 year old Dad who suffered a stroke. Amazon had a box of 12-pair wrongfully advertised at the price of one pair. And when you actually ordered them, you only got one pair. (The distributor was unaware of the problem and the pricing has now been corrected).I had an additional problem. First I was sent one pair too small and then, in a repeat order, was sent one pair too big despite the fact that I had ordered correctly. When the good folks at Surgical Medical Source realized I was having problems, they immediately stepped in - and in two days, I had exactly what I needed. They even followed up to make sure I was satisfied. I would be happy to do business with them again.These stockings are a godsend for anyone who's had leg clots. My dad says they are comfortable and he likes the fact that they are open toe.
