These things are a charm. Used on a work project to make a small multimeter box and it was super easy to use. Tabs can be used with soldering or a quick connect female spade connector. Nut threads are really fine so maybe add a little glue or loctite to help the tension. Use a 1/2" drill bit for your ports.

I used these in a breakout box and the look and feel of these jacks make the box look very professional!

The dimensions provided in one of the product images are considerably misrepresenting of actual (larger) dimensions. On top of that, the retaining nuts sloppily engage the threads on the jacks, easily cross-threading and almost simply sliding over threads at times. Very, very poor quality control, bad specs or both. BTW, you can guess from this where they originated. 😡

These banana female plugs are very easy to attach and install. They appear to be well-constructed and work great for my bass shaker application.
