Purchased this as a costume piece for a child to wear in a children's rendition of the musical "Thoroughly Modern Millie" and it worked perfectly. It was surprisingly well made considering the extremely low price. The chin strap was a little sketchy as it appeared to be a shoe lace attached to the sides of the hat with pieces of yarn, but it was usable with a couple of minutes of work untying one end, looping it through the yarn on that end, and tying a slipknot back onto itself on the other side to adjust the length. I wouldn't trust it to hold if you wore it outside in the wind, but it would be fine otherwise. It also has no suspension inside to hold it up off of your head, so heat is not going to escape and your sweat is going to soak into it, but a suspension device could be made for it easily from cloth or string if your intent was to use it for a real sun hat, although attaching it may be difficult without damaging the hat. Great for costume use, but I wouldn't suggest it for regular use.

Very cheap material, it came crushed, and the chin strap is a shoelace. Just spend a few dollars more for a decent one. This hat should cost around five dollars not $15. It was not even worth returning since the shipping cost they would reimburse me only ended up giving me back six dollars.

My 18 month old daughter is a basmati rice farmer from the far East. She works countless hours in the hot sun fighting off birds from stealing her crop with this hat she no longer has to worry about sun burn. Highly recommended for the farmers out there!

For a 6 dollar hat it is an expected quality its really fragile I could break it with my hands, some even arrived a bit chipped, we payed extra to get it the next day but after I payed it told me it would arrive in a span of a few days if you want it for a costume party for kids I say go for it but order it way before cuz it may take time to arrive but if you need it for something important I would go for a more expensive one with better quality

Arrived damaged during transit, no fault to seller since it weighs next to nothing and even the constitution of the box can't hold when stacked against other heavier boxes. Keep in mind, you get what you paid for: it's a nice novelty item, but will not stay on well, especially on windy days.

I know this is mostly a costume piece but I ended up buying it for work. I gotta say, it's an awesome shade for these sunny days working outside. I am extremely happy with this purchase. I do have to figure out a way to help it stay on my head since it has no support. It keeps on sliding forward from time to time. It doesn't slide backwards because I usually tie my hair in a ponytail so it prevents it from doing so.

My 3 year old is obsessed with Mastwr Wu from Lego ninjago movie she wanted a Master Wu hat to go with her Master Wu stick (cardboard tube) she is satisfied with it

It's a great Halloween Costume when you're going to be an Asian figure.For me, it's a combination of ninja and this hat.Unfortunately, the build quality sucks and it seems like it's about to fall off anytime soon. I just pray that this survives til next Halloween...but I doubt it.Overall, this is a costume you want to buy if you want to be a ninja, Chinese farmer, warrior, etc. But this costume is probably good for one time use only
