What a fantastic idea! A set of two trays, each with six ice cube separations. I of course use filtered water before freezing. Almost everyone now has self defrosting freezers and vanishing ice cubes in normal trays is a common thing. They slightly defrost and freeze again in your ice cubes get smaller and smaller. NOT WITH THIS ONE! It's got a sealed lid on top of it and every single ice cube remains the same size until I'm ready to use it! I'm adoring that function. It's made of non-bpa plastic so it's safe for food products which is including ice! And now for the size of the cubes. Large. Your ice cubes don't immediately melt. You'll only need one ice cube for lemonade or iced tea or any other drink you choose. Because they last. Which means your drink won't get quickly watered down. And they're extremely easy to dislodge one ice cube without all of the other ice cubes falling out. Made out of silicone, you can just push the bottom of the ice cube section that you want, and that's the only one that falls out! Super easy to snap it back into place. And one of the best things I found about this is that if I know I'm not going to be using it again for a day or two, I can simply refill the one or two cube sections that are empty, and the next time I go for it I have a full ice cube tray! Really do love this! I did clean it before use but there was no chemical smell. I always recommend cleaning these items before use! Very easy. Simply soap and water and rinse.

Good quality, flexible silicone (my previous tray was also silicone, but very rigid and hard to get the cubes out without man-handling the tray). With these trays, the silicone is very soft, and you can just push up from the bottom and the cube comes right out. The size of the cubes is also very good. Bigger than I'm used to, which is great, because I want my drink stay cold as long as possible, so the bigger the cube, the better. I also like the fact that the upper lip has a metal bar underneath it, so you have some stability and the tray isn't just one big flimsy mess. The lids are also a nice touch to prevent spills between the sink and the freezer, and because they are also silicone, they come right off when trying to get at the cubes. Would buy again.

Best silicone ice cube tray out there. Removing cubes is a breeze, and the cubes are HUGE! Big plus is the lids that come with the tray. Great value for a set of 2, I will order more. Highly recommended.

The lids could be just a *tad* tighter-fitting, and I suppose making the tray walls and dividers a bit thicker would make the tray more stable while it's being filled, but on the whole, I really like these trays. I no longer have the strongest hands, but using two thumbs, I can push out a cube from the bottom without too much effort. The larger-size cubes won't fit all the way in smaller glasses (e.g., classic Coca-Cola glasses), but when they *do* fit, you get a longer chill-to-melt ratio. (For the ultimate chill-to-melt ratio, you want *spherical* ice cubes, but spherical molds are more of a hassle to fill.) Maybe it's because I'm coming from an old hard-plastic tray that you have to run under warm or hot water before twisting it to release the cubes, and because the old tray ended up cracking *anyway*, but I'm pretty happy with these. If I ever come across a tray that addresses this one's minor shortcomings, I'll try to remember to come back and update this review.

These are wonderful. I have had others, but the stiff frame on the top within the silicon makes it so easy to get the cubes out and the lid keeps it from spilling as I move the water filled tray from my sink to my freezer. I have others that were just silicon that I never used because they were awkward and they were torn in places from removing the ice when I wasn't using them regularly. With these, now I always have some large ice cubes for cocktails or other drinks!

These awesome trays seems to be made of real food grade silicone. The size of cubes are great and, they freeze cubes without fracture lines like the silicone spheres that make 2" whiskey balls. Only caveat I see is that, if you pop them out right out of the freezer, there looks to be a little stress on the inside corners (longevity?). I have been running hot water over the bottom & sides for 5 to to 10 seconds so they pop/fall out without stressing the inside corners. I gave one tray to friends & will likely buy another set with confidence. Note: the silicone lids work well but, are not quite water tight.

These are really cool man. Not only do they make really nice, huge ice blocks, but it has a reinforced rim to where you can attach lids on them. I was constantly having problems with like debris. I'm gonna debris my frozen goods, but they have likead or something to crumble. You know, it's just falling into the ice cubes, and it makes your drink look floaty. These things are cool. And for the price , you can't beat it , I found other ones they wanted 17 dollars for the same thing that I got for 7

These work great! I like the firm edge so I can handle the water filled trays easily. The lids keep water from splashing and help prevent smells from getting into the ice. The best part is how easily the cubes come out. Since each one is a separate section, I can easily push one cube up from the mold without too much force or dislodging the cubes next to it. I am very happy with these, the 2 pack is perfect and provides enough cubes for a small get together where we are having cocktails.

Wrong description and picture of the item. It doesn't have individual compartments for each ice cube as shown. The quality is also below average. I had ordered it earlier from a different sellers, it was much better. Misguiding Pictures and Description

doubt that it is food safe. Smells chemical and plastic.
