Posters, drawings, and measuring cups weren't enough. I discovered this set in a curriculum catalog and what caught my eye was that the set uses containers similar to what you'd find in real life such as the gallon jug and pint containers one typically buys milk in. The set is made from study plastic, a little oily, but that'll wash off. (The set just arrived this afternoon.) Measurements are in US and Metric, and there are lots of them. Example: the gallon jug is marked in cups, pints, quarts, 1/2 gallon, gallon (the line is slightly below the top, just where milk would be filled to,) and oz. Though I haven't used it yet, and when I do it'll be in a homeschool setting with only one child, the set seems durable enough for a regular school or preschool setting.
