Replacement 2.4Ghz PS4 WiFi Bluetooth Antenna 2.4G 6dbi Wireless Router Omni Aerial with SMA Male Connector with SMA Female to UFL. iPx Pigtail Cable 1.13 15cm

Ordered this part off Amazon last night. It arrived at 6:00 am this morning. Bought it to replace the sun fried antenna on my i Aqualink 2.0 modem for my pool equipment. Was able to do the entire replacement in less than an hour. Steps to replace: 1. Shut off power to pool equipment 2. Remove 2 screws to remove the front panel of the iAqualink modem. 3. Remove 4 screws holding the PC board in place (red arrows in photo) 4. Pull the PC board out taking care to allow the 3 idiot lights (circled in yellow) to slide out freely from the modem housing. 5. Remove the 9mm bolt that mounted the original antenna to the modem housing. 6. Disconnect the thin antenna cable feed through the PC board from behind that connects the antenna to the PC board. 7. Remove the old antenna 8. The new antenna from Amazon is threaded on slightly different than the original. Feed the coax connector to the thin antenna cable from the inside of the housing so that the threaded coax connector sticks outside the housing. 9. Then thread the main part of the amazon antenna you bought on to the threaded coax connector sticking out of the housing. 10. feed the thin antenna cable through the lower hole (blue arrow in photo) of the two upper right holes on the back of the PC board and the thin antenna should clip on to the same IC chip the previous antenna cable was attached to. Note, be sure you fern the thin cable (wire) through the right hole because the other hole is needed to screw the PC board back on to the modem housing. 11. Remount the PC board to the modem housing taking care to feed the 3 idiot lights into their holes on the modem housing. 12. Reattach the cover plate with its 2 screws 13. Turn the control panel power switches back on 14. Check your pool app on your phone to ensure you are now getting communication.

We moved our PS4 to a media closet and the controllers weren't able to work properly at such a long distance. Bought this antenna, watched a few youtube videos, and had it installed in under an hour. We also bought an extension cable so we could mount the antenna outside the rack, but a word of caution: check to ensure the extension cable you get will fit the antenna; we ended up with two male ends and had to get a barrel connector to make everything work. Not super expensive get the barrel connector, just took longer than we wanted. If you're thinking about extending the range of your PS4, but you're iffy about opening the case, DONT BE! With a little work and removing a few screws, it really IS pretty simple, and you'll be happy you did! We can now play our PS4 from 100 ft + away with no lag or noticeable issues!

This antenna is used to amplify the Bluetooth signal for PS4 controllers. My PS4 base unit is at a bad signal location in my setup and the controllers were losing their signal while playing games. Not anymore! This project is not for someone who is afraid to tear things apart. Instructions are found on the web.

Line was not attached slipped right out of the heat shrink when uncoiled. Attempted to recrimp the line to avoid having to order another and the fitting broke as if it was an egg shell. I should have just asked for a refund instead of trying to fix it but to late now

Worked great to swap my iAquaLink 2.0 antenna. Snap connector fits the board. Took 10 mins.

The first antenna wire broke off as soon as I installed it. I requested a replacement and proceeded with the installation. It was tricky but it works on a PS4slim. My WiFi is connecting at 4 times the speed of the original antenna and the controllers work flawlessly.

My controllers started losing connection unless I pointed directly at the PS4 without anything obstructing it. Replaced wireless antenna with the same but problem was only a little better. This antenna boosted my signal and the controllers do not drop anymore. This should be the first solution to go instead of doing what I did. I replaced two controllers, replaced two antennas that were the same style as the factory one and upgraded my router. Try this as your first choice. Who dat Nation.
