I bought the set of these fans, which were in various colors, to use when I'm too warm. The fans are pretty, the colors are vibrant, and the fans create a pretty good amount of wind. The reason I like these fans is how effortlessly they open and close - in a cinch; I had gotten some fans of a different style from another vendor, and a person has to meddle too much with them until they close properly. These are not like that. The only drawback is they very slightly fray, but that's because I actually use them (if it's just for decor, then I'm sure that wouldn't be an issue) so, so far, it's not a big deal. Also they are delicate and always must be handled with care so that the plastic stays intact. But this is no different than how you would need to treat any fan.

Bought this fan for my daughter's wedding in Mexico and it was beautiful!
