I ordered these because i plan to exclusively pump with my second baby. I exclusively pumped with my first, however i had a Medela pump and this time around i went for the Spectra S2!Anyone who pumps on a normal basis knows that at SOME point you will need new membranes/duckbills. And when you need them, it's usually 3am after you've been up for days at a time (or so it seems!). So i went ahead and purchased these in advance knowing i will need them. I chose these over the Spectra duckbills because of the obvious reason: THE PRICE! I cant believe that you get six duckbills for only $10! Versus the $13 that spectra likes to charge for two. Originally i was going to purchase the Maymom duckbills that have a little pull tab, but i decided to purchase these instead because they resembled the actual Spectra duckbills more. Besides the obvious differences cosmetically, the quality feels JUST like the Spectra duckbills! I also love the little plastic case they came with. It makes it easier when organizing everything in my JuJuBe pump bag. I cannot speak for the quality of them when using the pump because i'm not due with my second baby for another week. Once i use them while pumping and compare the two i'll come back and update my review!Anyway, i posted a bunch of pictures comparing the Spectra duckbill to the Maymom ones. I posted pictures that i personally would've liked to see prior to purchasing. I'm a big fan of reviews with pictures, so hopefully they help someone who was on the fence about buying them like me!

I used these while I exclusively pumped over a year for my son and now I'm using them when I pump for my daughter. I've never noticed a difference in pumped volumes between these and Spectra brand duck bills but these are so much more affordable. They work with Medela flanges as well. I recommend these anytime I get asked about replacement pump parts.

I was having trouble with the Medela valves, too many parts to trouble shoot when suction is not working and definitely not ideal when I use my pump while driving on my way to work. I was a little hesitant at first to use these duckbill valves but they are the best decision that I made. Although the base is a little stiff it is overall very easy to clean and the suction is so much better. I strongly recommend them.

These are great for use on a spectra pump and half the cost of their parts plus work just as good

These work as well as the originals. They have a good seal and keep good suction. My complaint is that they say they can not go in the dishwasher. I've run a couple through the dishwasher (very top rack, not on sanitize) and they have been ok so far.

I purchased these to have as backups for work and home. They fit the spectra flanges great.

These duckbill valves are the best I've found! They are the most like the original Spectra valves and they are a great value for the price! These give great suction, are easy to remove and clean and the price enables me to change them out monthly (like I should have been doing all along...) I will definitely be purchasing these again!

Very cheaply made. The actual bill portion of the valve is so thin and makes a slurping sound as it suctions which my original spectra does not make since the material is thicker. The suction was not great even on the first use. After hand washing, many of the valves already have >5mm break in the valve, Will be emailing customer service to see if they will refund me.Edit: After emailing customer service, they did respond promptly and offer to refund the money. Additionally they offered to send some of their 3rd gen duckbills. Will see if these are better
