VS1002 Wireless Security Camera System with Light Camera and 7" Monitor, Two-Way Audio, Free APP, SD Card and Battery Installed (720p HD Camera)

I searched high and low for the perfect camera system for my elderly parents house. This was the only system that checked every box: no internet at the house, no monthly costs, easy to setup, powered cameras, did not require adjusting the current doorbell (though still works as a video doorbell), and the easiest possible user interface known to man. For that last one: anyone with elderly parents who are technologically inept know how frustrating it can be walking them through the simplest thing over the phone. Not with this - it is so straightforward that my mom learned it within minutes. This system was PERFECT. The quality of the video feed, the very long cables that come with the cameras, the ease of being able to move around the monitor to wherever you go in the house, the automatic popup on the screen (even ring and alexa can't do that), the spotlight functionality with the camera - it is simply perfect.

I purchased these due to the potential chaos the coronavirus may cause. We have a high drug use in this area so I wanted to be able to see who's outside as I spend most of my time upstairs and can't hear if anyone is at the door. Haven't had to contact tech support so I haven't rated it. The cameras are amazing for the price. I have my cameras about 100ft away from the monitor and only occasionally will The feed cut out for 1 second and kicks back on. You can adjust the antennas to help pick up better reception. The speakers are excellent. You can speak to whoever is outside and can hear them as well. Very clear audio and video. The night vision is excellent, I can see things very well at 80ft. The flood lights are incredibly bright and the motion sensors are unreal. They pick up movement at 100ft away probably more. Cars driving down the street will activate the motion sensors lol. You can actually choose portions of the camera you want to block from having the motion sensors pick up. All in all you can't beat the value for these huge metal cameras. Easy to install. I wish they had an option for a larger monitor. I upgraded the SD card to 128gb which will hold about 18 hours of hd video. I only hope the monitor last because there is no other way to use the cameras. Will update in future. I would buy these again and may add 2 more cameras to the system which allows for 4 total. Superb buy.

The product seems fine - the true test is after you've had it a few months or even if it lasts a year. Most new items work fairly well. Night vision is better than those I have - as with HD night vision the screen is constantly moving and will look a bit blurred. Spotlight is a nice touch. Edit ... bought two cameras in 2019, a few months apart. One monitor was Fuzzy but overall still worked fairly well. After a few months a storm caused electrical surges which resulted in problems with one monitor - replaced entire set in June 2020. The newer cameras have a wider sight range - very good but - that places sights at least 10 feet further away that it should, not so good - nor is it's motion detection as sensitive as the older model cameras - not so good either. Spotlight makes night vision better -without light as with most cameras night vision is poor. But over all the cameras have a very sturdy frame compared to other all other models in that category - that's an A+. Monitors could use a bit of tweaking - often times they get stuck in a mode and you have to pull out the SD card to turn it off then restart - still overall a B-. Have to add - these newer versions of their cameras have 6 screws outside on the lens which means they will receive moisture. THEY WILL FOG UP & eventually create a big problem - I had to send the one back I started using almost immediately _ with no problem from the manufacturer. January 2022 - monitor problems on the one I bought in 2021 had to replace the set. Noted cameras still have screws I guess that is their design now - the first design without screws were excellent cameras in the rain. With the new design and screws on the lens, I'd advise to put a covering over them or have them in a covered area. Still the sturdiest built camera on the on the market of those kind - and these cameras with this purchase has very good night vision without extra lighting.

This product has far surpassed my expectations. I've been a user of CasaCam for many years and just upgraded to their latest 1080p system. The picture clarity is unsurpassed and the ease of use of this product is far better than you get with the other systems. What I like best about this system is the attached monitor. No phone app for this one other than you can have network access if you like. It's not a requirement. You can, however, view your cameras via your mobile phone while out of town with network access. Everything is right out front for you to review 24/7. It takes a recording of any movement as well. Support is the best I've found. I really made a wise choice on this one.

This has to be the worse camera ever! I should’ve returned it the minute I saw the first flaw🤦🏽‍♀️ it doesn’t work half the time and forget about the app it’s the worse when I get an alert that there is motion the screen is blacks and says it cannot play back the video also I have an SD card in it and still can’t record anything🤦🏽‍♀️ not to mention I get a pop up on my phone when I go into the app warning this video is playing on another device BUYER BEWARE DO NOT BIY THIS CAMERA!!! Big mistake I will be selling it at a flea market I’m having in the spring time
