I don't typically put groceries in the back seat so have not used for that but do have a couple of water bottles in a bag hanging from my last road trip. The one behind the passenger seat is where I try to put my purse. If I have a passenger I usually put my purse on the console which means it tends to fall into the back seat and stuff falls out. When I use the hook that doesn't happen. However, I wear my purse cross body so the strap is long. With the hook at it's shortest the purse sits on the floor with some slack in the strap but at least it does not spill or slide and I can still reach the strap on the hook to pull it back into the front. Years ago I had sever tendonitis in my right shoulder so with the weight of my purse contents it's painful to put in there and bring it back up front but I still like that it's easier than having to get out of the car and open the back door to get it.

Easy to install, mostly works as designed. My only complaint is that they keep sliding down lower.The adjustable height is a great feature, but it just keeps sliding down.Works as advertised otherwise. I use them on one seat facing back for my son. On the passenger seat I have it facing forward, and it holds my work backpack in place while I drive. It's convenient to stop & grab what I need quickly without digging in the back seat for it.Nice for long work driving trips.

So far, we've had them for a week. The ability to shorten or lengthen the cord is nice, as some bags are too heavy to actually hang off the hook, but at least hooking the bag will keep it from spilling over while I drive. I especially like having these in the way back of my minivan to hang extra grocery bags, umbrellas and light stuff that tends to get smashed. Easy to install and move them to where needed.

These were easy to install (simply clip onto headrest) I think I’ve used them maybe 2 times, if you have little ones in the back seat they just become a new thing to kick. My issue with them was that when I adjusted the length it would keep slipping out to the full length again (there by moving into foot range again), so it doesn’t work for me right now but maybe as the kiddos get older

These just snap right on to the headrest post. I always hated that I had to sit my purse on the seat (out of reach when driving) or on the floor in the back seat when someone else was in the car with me. These are great. Just hook my purse on and go. They can moved either to the front or the back of the seat. Great!!

I had some nice chrome metal headrest hooks until the day I sat in the back seat and realized those metal hooks could puncture a face in an accident. These do the same job of keeping bags off the floor, without the spear factor of the metal type. Yes, they will hold a bottle, but the bottle swings freely and may bother you when it bumps the seatback. And, since the bottle moves & shakes, it's a feature for water bottles and nothing carbonated.

These will be great on new CRV. Was afraid the headrest posts would be to big, but fit perfect. Love the adjustability. Placed one for purse on front passenger seat, and two on the back seat to hang over into the cargo area. Needed something to hold all my reusable bags, placed all in one bag, and then hung over hook. The water holder bottle holder feature is a nice addition.

Just purchased in January 2019 and one of the hooks has broke at the point where the hook and strap connect. I only used it to hook a day bag onto it that had nothing but a couple of eyeglass cases, a water bottle, some medications, and random nonsense like gum and tech charging cables. It was pretty unexpected as it seems sturdy enough to handle items like this. I'll post pics shortly. I'd love a replacement, but won't be buying another set or going to endless amounts of trouble to replace. It's not worth the headache or potential cost out of my own pocket considering what I've already paid. Cool little item for a bit of organization; however, I'm not expecting the rest of the hooks to last.
