**Q: What is the width of  the mounting top plate?  Would these wheels leave any marks on a wood floor?  Thank you**
A: To anyone who views - if you're planning on mounting these wheels to sit partially next to something else as opposed to simply on the bottom, the total width of the unit is more than the ~19mm (18.8mm on most of mine) of the plate, plus extra for the axle pin. I would allow 22mm to be safe - an extra 1mm on one side, and 2mm on the other side for the axle pin. Alternatively you'll need to drill a small hole for the axle pin to sit in the material that will be next to the wheel.

**Q: Is the metallic plate magnetic?**
A: Yes the metal plate is magnetic.  It appears to be plated steel.

**Q: Are the wheels hard or soft?**
A: They are hard

**Q: Do these wheels swivel?**
A: This particular wheel/caster does NOT swivel.

Used these to install drawers on the hard floor under the bed. The roll is smooth and sturdy enough even with significant weight which is surprising because they don't feel sturdy when you're holding them in your hands. No squeaks either.
