Excellent as a large melted butter crock for seafood. The burner is a little close to the bottom, but not enough of an issue to take a star away.

I use this as my butter warmer for crabs and it is a beast. The bowl is deep and I usually heat two sticks on the stove first then pour into bowl and it stays warm.

I like the fact that this is dishwasher safe and easy to clean, but that’s about where the positives end. The candle doesn’t get the bowl near warm enough to melt anything. I had to put the bowl in the microwave to melt everything, and then keep it over the candle to “keep it warm,” though I don’t think it really did anything. Don’t waste your money and just buy a different fondue pot.

picture looked like a nice size pot for fondue. However, it is so tiny as to be one person pot. Very disappointed.

You have too Start a candle and put some water in it 20 minutes before u want to use it . Other than that it works good for reg fondue or the cheese dip for chips . You will cherish it.

The fondue pot works great for an intimate cheese fondue for two by the fire.
