Quite delicate but a great buy.
Quite easily damaged if not careful.OK for wearing if you're not going to be very active. Still a good buy though.

Kept cool and in the shafe
The hat is good for keeping your head in the shade, it was also cooler than wearing a cloth material hat, my head was not sweating as much as if I had a material type, is a bit delicate and easy to fold out of shape.

Poorly Packed
Generally pleased with the hat, as it is wide very wide brimmed and will be great for the garden, beach and golf! The weave is quite close and quality of the 'straw' seems like it should 'live' for quite a while. Unfortunately had to knock off the stars due to the packaging: it comes in just a simple plastic bag, no cardboard box; no protection!! As a result the brim was bent/buckled. Given some of the things I've ordered in the past, that are significantly more robust, and that come packaged in a ridiculously oversized cardboard box and stuffing that a teddy bear would be proud of - then why isn't this packaged to offer it better protection??Couldn't be bothered to return it - so, just sprayed the brim with some water and put some paperweights on it to flatten - seems to have worked!

Why be environmental and wrap it in plastic!
Frustratingly a straw hat has to be wrapped in a giant plastic bag. The brim is also very warped after being delivered not like the picture perfect hat in the photo.

No shape
Is so flimsy that lose shape just by hanging against a door -I’d had not shape when I opened the box.

Cracking hat!
Dilly dilly! What can I say about this hat! Fantastic purchase. Have long had issues finding a wide brimmed hat for full sun protection and one that was lightweight enough not to sit to tight on the old suede. This was perfect! The straw composition is incredibly cool and surprisingly durable and most importantly it’s sustainable and environmentally friendly. Top work turtle straws. (Would be keen to know if you were looking at a more fashion friendly hat in the future such as a panama or trilby)

Great for keeping you cool while hiding from the sunny rays.
I hate the sun.... it has a huge brim that hides it from me. As it is made of reeds it stretches o my head size nicely.I wear it for gardening and it’s brilliant , have to get used to the height as I keep catching it on branches and the arms of the washing line!!!Would recommend
