I passed over getting this for my dam's first litter. She struggled to regain weight; her coat blowout was really bad, and she didn't fully recover from it until about 3 months after the pups left for their new homes. With her current litter, she regained about 75% of her weight. Her coat is shiny, full, and shedding normally during this summer heat; no bald spots or patches. And I'm not sure if it's because this litter is larger (13 vs. 9 with her first litter), but she actually waits for me to tell her when it's time to nurse! We've started to wean, and she still sits patiently outside the whelping box to nurse. She was hesitant to taste the chew at first, because it has a strong herbal scent. But I broke it up and let her have a little piece, and she loves the taste! When I try to offer her regular treats, she walks over to where I keep these. It's definitely worth the cost for having the comfort of knowing Momma is doing well.

These worked great for my dam with two different litters 2 years apart and both times she was always eager to have these in her bowl along with fish, egg, cottage cheese, pumpkin puree, blueberries, raw chews and broth. She still always went for these treats first! All babies were healthy and so was mama and the vet always complimented their health! Her recovery was swift and she bounced back to activities per usual within the short side of the expected healing range. They smell tasty and she seems to love the taste so thanks for the product!

My mommas love these!

I’m in dog rescue, and have worked with many pregnant dogs, in bad condition. My current mama dog was thin, with some milk, and was missing lots of hair, when she arrived. Her skin was raw in some places, and dry and rough, in others. I wouldn’t have know she was pregnant if she hadn’t appeared to have some milk. She was treated by my vet for skin problems, but I wanted to do more to help her. I saw Oxy Momma, a post natal supplement, and decided to try it. Her milk flow appears to have increased since I began using it. It may have helped her skin a bit, too. It’s softer and smoother than it was when she completed the meds for her skin. You can see how fat and happy the puppies are, and you can see how much milk she has. I highly recommend this to anybody who has a mama dog that needs a little extra help, after the puppies are born.
