Pet MD Wrap A Pill Cheese & Bacon Flavor Pill Paste for Dogs - 8 oz

I can not say enough good things about this. My blue heeler started having seizures 8 months ago and has been put on medication twice a day. I will definitely say the cheese and bacon flavor is the way to go. We tried all of them and they are all different consistencies. The peanut butter one is super greasy and the bacon one is really dry and crumbly. As you can see, Nova loves the taste and when she finishes eating she’s waiting and ready for her pill making sure I don’t forget lol. It doesn’t smell bad. It doesn’t dry out in the container. Every Sunday I go ahead and prewrap all of her pills for the week and put them in a pill organizer so it’s quick. They hold up just fine. Don’t dry out or peel away at all. The paste is super easy to work with and a little goes a VERY long way. She gets one decent size tab in the AM and one and a half in the PM. The small container size lasted I believe over a month. (The container pictured is the bigger container. We ordered a small of each flavor then ordered a large of the cheese and bacon after trying them all and liking this one the best.) I definitely recommend this stuff. This what we’ll be using from here on out with her medication!

My large dog will not eat his nexgard chewable (flea/tick/heartworm medicine). I was able to wrap it in cheese once, and he ate it, and figured out that con. Next came peanut butter, that only worked once. Then it progressively got more complex to get him to eat his medicine. I would cut the chewable up and place the pieces into pill pockets, and that worked for a bit. I was running out of options, and severely frustrated every month. Enter this, wrap a pill. What an amazing solution to my problem. I can take a chunk of this stuff and flatten it out to a little under 1/4” thick and completely encase the medication. My dog now looks forward to his medicine and even comes back looking for more. It has worked 6 times so far, so it is by far the easiest and most effective solution to my problem. My dog has to take daily seizure meds and she Does Not fall for the pill hidden in cheese trick, so we were not looking forward to the daily fight of getting her meds in her. So we were Very pleased to find this stuff because not only does it work, she actually Likes it! She looks forward to ‘treat time’ and it’s never a hassle. So if you have a picky and/or clever dog, give this a try!

This pill paste works great for my pups. They like the bacon / cheese flavor best. The peanut butter flavor is a bit oily / messy, in my opinion (still acceptable to my pups, though).

I like the texture and packaging better than pill pockets. Works great for all tablets/capsules/chewable preventions .
